Here comes the end of the world of balance! This episode took so much time and effort, so I'm just happy that it's done ha. Still, it's a really interesting part, showing the world ending (turning into the World of Ruin) and the death of an Emperor.

Episode 36 - A Whole New World!

Hey all, here comes the World of Ruin! Is Celes the only character left alive after all that destruction? Maybe! Well...not, it looks like Sabin survived too 0_0.

You can actually save Cid if you like, but I think it's more emotional and suiting to the scenario if you let him die.

Anyways, we make our way through Albrook to Tzen, where we find Sabin saving a kid trapped in a house that's falling down. It looks like we'll need to complete the house dungeon in order to gain our second party member, however. No bosses though!

All the battles in the house were kept in for building tension. I was being lazy with the editing...honest...

Episode 38 - Who Is This Gerad?

Hello all, it's time for us to chase after a mysterious man called Gerad! Nikeah is pretty much the same as it ever was, but it looks like the bandits have taken over from the empire's soldiers. Of course, that's until they leave and we give chase...

South Figaro Cave allows us to ride turtles (potentially drowning them, but who can say?). Unfortunately, we've lost the opportunity to grab some good treasures because we opened the chests back in the world of balance. I hate when RPGs do this...it's my main gripe with Chrono Trigger too :/.

Hey all, here's the rest of Gerad's section! With a 3rd character in our party, the battles will speed up a wee bit now, so that's grand!

Tentacle Strategy:

- Go for the bottom left tentacle first. It's the weakest.
- The element of each tentacle is different. Use a weak spell to see which is which first, then move onto the secondary forms (Fira etc)
- Heal when necessary
- If someone is grabbed, heal them whenever possible
- Drill, Blitz

Episode 40 - Gambling In The Crypt

Hey all, welcome the 4th character to our party! Setzer may not be that great, but it's better than having no 4th character at all :).

It looks like we'll need to look for an airship too, so let's head to Darill's Tomb and find one! It's one of my favourite dungeons, mainly because it has a sorta horror feel along with a few puzzles.

We also find ourselves an incredibly important relic (quite possibly the best in the game, I'd say): the Growth Egg! Give this to a character and that one character will earn double exp from every battle! Get ready for Celes to pull out in front of everyone else for a while! :D

We also take on a monster in a box: angler whelk. Just cast banish and you'll get an amazing new weapon for Sabin that'll last for aaaages. Also:

Hey all, it's time for us to return to Narshe! This is where we gain an entirely new character: Mog the moogle! We also grab an incredible relic that stops encounters completely while Mog is in the party.

Fiiiiinally, we grab Sabin's ultimate Blitz: Phantom Rush! It used to be known as Bum Rush but that was removed for...obvious reasons :p

Episode 43 - Mog's Phoenix Cave

Hey all, here comes a very sidequesty episode. From the very start of the Fanatic's Tower (only for a moment though) to the coliseum (for a pretty amazing piece of armour) to the start of the Phoenix Cave!

Yep, we're going here with only 5 characters, when we could have 8! I got this idea from a guy called "thejonnymar", where you use Mog on one party so that you can't have random encounters, while the other full party takes care of the the enemies and bosses.

We'll finish that place off next time and grab another new character too! Thanks for watching :)

Episode 44 - Locke's Phoenix Cave

Hey all, while the majority of this episode is the Phoenix Cave, there's also a pretty sad scene at the end to do with Locke and Rachel. We do get Locke back and a new (amazing!) esper out of it though! Phoenix teaches some great spells, including Curaga, Firaga, Life2 (I forgot the name) and Reraise.

Oh yeah, as for that bloody Red Dragon...

Red Dragon Strategy:

- Blizzara/Blizzaga are good. Ultima is better. It depends on what spells you have at this point.
- Heal a lot!
- Have some form of fire null equipment
- Drill etc if the character has low magic stats

That was damn tough! It took me at least 5 recordings and the save point was pretty far back. Explaining it all repeatedly was hard work too ha.

Episode 45 - Narshe's Dragon Problem

Hello peoples, here comes an episode full of optionally bits. From the cursed shield being found, to the esper from the old man in Narshe, to the ice dragon boss up in the mountains, it's pretty packed for a 10 minute episode. This is all on the way to our next character however...more on that guy/gal next time :D.

Ice Dragon Strategy:

- Fira is good. Firaga is better (Phoenix). Ifrit may be ok?
- Drill, bushido etc (depends on which characters you've re-collected really)
- Heal every turn with at least one character.

Episode 46 - Umaro Roars!

Hey all, only a short description today because of illness *cough*. We check out the Yeti's Cave at the end of Narshe Mountain, where we find two bosses: Valigarmanda and Yeti. Just use fire moves against them both and you're good to go.

This earns us a new character who is pretty useless in my opinion, but it's still nice to grab him.

Episode 47 - Deathgaze And Lola

Hey there everyone, here comes Deathgaze! To find him, you just need to fly around until he randomly shows up as a boss. If he flees during the battle, you'll need to find him again (and this can take a loooong time) so make sure to go all out with ultima (or your other strongest moves) to take him down as quickly as possible. Having Hermes Sandles helps loads too.

We also talk to Lola and end up returning to Zozo in order to find Cyan too! See you next time for the results of that.

Hey all, here comes the rest of the mountain behind Zozo, including the Storm Dragon boss! Go for broke with drills and your best spells. Wind magic probably won't work so well, but I've never tried it.

We also grab Cyan and wrap up his relationship problems with Lola (L-O-L-A Looooola).

Episode 49 - Dream A Little Dream

Have you ever fought some siblings who live inside someone's head before? Well now you have! On our return to Doma Castle, we're assaulted by three dream stooges who drag us into Cyan's head (kinda sorta) which leads us to a dungeon reminiscent of Earthbound.

We get to take them on, which is great, and they're easy enough. Try and attack the three at the same time...with ultima if possible (there seems to be a pattern forming...).

There are however 4 parts to this dungeon. We get through...a lot of it today. Gotta love being back on the Phantom Train ha!

Episode 50 - Cyan's Psychological Issues

Hey all, here comes the last of Cyan's...issues! The cave is really short, but it gives us the opportunity to play a few battles within the magitek armour again! I always did love that and this is our last chance to do so.

Theeeen there's the castle section, where we get to see what Cyan and his son's relationship was like. This makes it all the sadder when you think of his son's death near the start :(.

As for the boss (Wrexsoul), this is a tricky one. To make him appear, kill your characters one by one until he pops back out (revive as you go along). Then you cna just go for the ultima approach...or at least avoid attacking his midget friends. It's useless.

Poor Cyan. Even though he tries to keep Knighty and noble and everything, he's clearly hurt and damaged inside. He's sort of like Cecil and Beatrix in a way, expect he doesn't have a magical all of a sudden recovery, it takes a while, and feels more deep and real. He actually has to move on and defeat his demons like a real person would have too. Don't hate Cecil or Beatrix, because Cecil's recovery is more Christian Baptism themed and Beatrix is badass, but Cyan's past and pain feels more human.

Hey all, here comes a whole dungeon (and newish character) in one episode. From the Still Life paintings, to the end boss (Chadarnook!). By the way, if you want to beat that boss, just go all out when the monster is showing and stop when he changes into the goddess. I wish I could see what the consequence is for attacking the goddess...but I couldn't see anything.
