[Real RP!] - Have Party, Will Travel

Ryan scratched his head rather nervously, giving Cerden a fairly confused look. "Um, no. I wish it HAD been my stomach though..." he confessed. "But you know what, I felt a faint whiff of brimstone coming along the hallway when we heard that. Whatever that thing is, it's at least partly demonic, so that's some good news."

Then he just shrugged. "Because if it's part-demonic, that means we can kill it. I mean, Aedan's a paladin--he probably deals with demonic shit everyday! Come on!"

Ryan carried on down the hallway, secretly wondering where Ty was and wishing very hard that Ty was with him instead of Raz's group, if only to keep Ryan from giving in to his urge to just get the hell out of dodge.

But if I leave, Ty will come with the other group and get his fuzzy arse killed! I couldn't leave even if I wanted! he thought sourly. Darn werewolf!

At least the hallway now definitely led to the throne room. They'd come to the first section of it, a sort of 'green room' where people expecting an audience with the Duke or members of his court waited before being formally called in and introduced to the Duke and his court--a common court practice. It was a large hall with a tall, sun window-bearing ceiling that now provided a strange afternoon light. The normally elegant hall was now abandoned by guards and retainers and housing the one creature that'd actually eaten a couple of those retainers.

It was an impressive beast, about the size of an elephant, with a hunched back and shiny white fur. Its head was more or less wedge-shaped and its eyes were red pits of hatred and fury. Those big ears undoubtedly gave it an exceptional hearing--it could probably hear their stunned heartbeats. It opened a mouth of strange teeth and screeched a roar at them as they approached. Bizarre, multiple horns and claws completed the vision of hell's wrath brought into existence.

"Wait...that thing..." Ryan said, cocking his head sideways. "...Is that a rabbit? A giant fucking demon rabbit?"

It wasn’t very often that Tali was complemented… but it was a nice and welcome change. In her line of work, creativity was never really rewarded at all. People expected it out of her and never cared when she delivered. All in all, it was about time she got the praise she deserved. “Thank you,” she said. However, when Raz touched her leg, she flinched. Tali wasn’t very used to being touched. In all reality, she wasn’t used to it. She wasn’t scared of it, but she didn’t like it… at all.

The sound of it was evident in her voice. “Y-yes, right there in the calf… but I think I will be fine if I stay off of it for a little while.” She didn’t look Raz in the eye as she said that. Tali wasn’t one that enjoyed showing signs of weakness. “Do not stop on account of me. Let us continue on.”

((OOC: Sorry for the long post! >.< I hate too long posts. But Elven told me we had to catch up to proceed with the story. Exo, you said that because you were pressed for time earlier on and that I could god-mod Tali if I wanted so I used that a TEENSY bit here, I hope you don't mind! :\ ))

"We'll get moving as soon as Tali is good to move,"
Raz told Aaron.

As she gently probed the leg, Tali flinched and told her where the pain was. "A pain like that, it's probably broken then," Raz said. She tucked a wayward strand of hair behind her ear as she sat back on her heels. "But it isn't lopsided or anything, so I'd say it's a fracture." She glanced up at Tali, who was obviously nervous by the contact. "Don't worry, it's not like we're engaged or anything," Raz said dryly. "I'm going to splint it and you'll have to stay on Berhu from now on, but you should be okay until we can get a healer to take care of it."

Raz quickly went about splinting the leg, using some femurs she'd found on the ground as braces and a length of bandage cloth she always carried with her. She was paranoid about being prepared, and Jazz often teased her for it, but it was times like this when it paid off. She was thorough and the splint was very secure, but not the most gentle, though she did her best not to cause any discomfort.

Once Tali had been attended too, Raz glanced down the hallway. "Okay you guys, we'll make a run for it. That monster held us up for too long. Aaron, Clair, Tali, I don't know what's down there but my guess is it's going to be nasty. Whatever you do, keep running, got it? From what I can figure, we're about halfway down this damn hall. Just follow me."

Raz didn't spend any time attending to her own wounds. She'd suffered worse than a few scratches on her arm before. Aaron and Clair, as far as she could see, had gotten away relatively unscathed.

Raz started to jog down the hallway, expecting the others to keep up. Shortly after that, Raz broke into a light run, not quite spriting, not quite jogging. Then Raz put on full speed, her breath coming harshly, and she raced down the hallway. The red light from Tali's staff bobbed as Berhu trundled down the hallway, his long stride eating away the distance with ease.

As they ran, the walls around them began to change. They gradually were covered with some slick, nauseating slime that seemed to grow from the walls. They ran on. Body parts started to appear in the slimy creep, twisted and malformed. They ran on.

Raz almost lost her footing as the first... thing appeared in the red light from Tali's staff.

It looked like a human had been melted into the wall. Flesh and bone had been smeared across the stone and slime like gooey cheese, with withered and twisted limbs grasping weakly at them as they sprinted by. Tortured, dead faces moaned at them and the entire wall seemed to pulse with an unnatural heartbeat.

250px-Guardian.jpg

The tunnel was covered with twisted bodies, each horrible alive, each incredibly... hungry. Raz did her best to ignore them. Their arms were too weak to do anything than flutter in the air at them. Somehow the Duke must've brought a little bit of Hell into the castle when he'd summoned that thing. Or else... that thing had been busying making a home for itself down here. That thought propelled Raz further.

Finally! A glimmer of light up ahead, stinging on her dark-adjusted eyes. Stairs! Raz took them two at a time, hearing Berhu grunt as he followed her up. Up above, a hidden door waited. She flung her self against an it burst open. Raz held it open as Berhu burst out after her. An instants' glance and she recognized the throne room. She turned to face the dark hallway where Clair and Aaron were.

Raz waved urgently for the others. "Come on, come on!"

Wasting no time at all,Raz patched up Tali's leg and they began to charge off,Aaron and Clair had to run to keep up with them as they navigated the darkened hall's.As they got closer to their goal disgusting living wall's became more frequent.

"What the hell did I get myself into now.."He Whispers to himself as he continues following Raz

They finally reach the end of the dark hall's as Raz pushes a Door open and bright light shines inside the darkened halls.Without a moment to adjust he hears Raz yell out.

"Come on, come on!"

As she yells that Aaron Charges towards the light and enter's the room,It appeared to be a Throne Room but his eyes were still adjusting to the light.

((OCC: Gary's baaaaack :3))

Cerden, Ryan, and Gary(returning)
Location: Morris Castle: Throne Room

Cerden didn’t know what to expect when he and Ryan made the final steps into what would be forever at the rate shit was going. However, when the two of them stepped into the throne room - which was much nicer than anything Cerden has seen in recent days - he noticed one thing above all else…

“A giant fucking demon rabbit!” Cerden and Ryan’s words were like perfectly synced. It didn’t really take much for Cerden to take that this rabbit looked like Bugs bunny on a crapload of steroids. It wasn’t like this is anything shy of normal for bad guys, but seriously the duke has a rabbit! A RABBIT!! It looks so cute, but up close it’s like Bigfoot took a shit on it and it was colored white.

Taking in a deep breath, Cerden prepared for this long, and quite possibly, dangerous battle with the giant bunny. He pulled out his twin heart short swords, and right as he was just about to charge at the bunny, he noticed a hovering shadow above. It was vague, but Cerden knew what it was.

“NOW GARY!!” Cerden called out as a roar was let out of Gray’s deep mouth, and downward, he came crashing at full speed with his wings wrapped around his body, and velocity at full speed. Gary was starting to spin his body in a twisting motion, which would add onto the maximum velocity.

As Gary would approach closer to the ground, Cerden started his charge,. Increasing his agility, speed, and strength, Cerden formed his glass armor which would be coated with the strongest layer of glass he could push out. He then jumped in a corkscrew flip, and then he landed on the giant bunny. And this bunny was so stupid, it probably had no idea Cerden was even on it. While that was going on, Gary drove his whole weight into the lower back part of the bunny. The cries of pain were obvious.

Cerden knew this was his chance to act.

The momentum that was passed from Gary’s strike into the bunny’s back whiplashed Cerden into the air, and from there he shot several tiny, but sharp glass shards at the bunny’s underside. It probably wasn’t going to kill it, but this would give Ryan more than enough time to get an opening.

Those abominations on the wall... What were they? They seemed to pulse, as though still alive? Were these more results of the Duke's experiments? Had they been sentient, free beings once? Just like she was now? The thought was chilling.

She shuddered,a chill running down her spine. No. There was little point in thinking about this in detail. These poor tortured souls were beyond her help. If they had been people once, they weren't anymore. Thinking about them as if there was hope for them was pointless.

With a tongue click of disgust, she moved on, shaking her head. "Where now?" she asked.

The second Clair was through the door, Raz threw her weight against the door and slammed it shut. She leaned against it, catching her breath.

"Okay. Now it's just tea and dumplings until we get to the D--"

At that moment, she turned around.

And she did not like what she saw.

"Okay," she said, sighing. "That's new." A giant demon rabbit was NOT what she had anticipated. This day just kept getting better and better.

She spotted Ryan across the hall and waved at him in a decidedly sarcastic and cheerful manner. "Good times, huh?"

It was times like these she really wished she was paranoid enough to carry some of those expensive exploding 'grenades' she'd bought off that twitchy mage one time. Oh well. They'd just have to do this the hard way. She drew her sword and fell into the Ox guard; the sword held up by her temple, wrists crossed, the deadly, blood-stained tip aimed at the demon.

"All right, everyone. Let's have some fun!"

Aaron Sohm

As Raz closed the door,He looked at her,her expression changed slightly as she spoke."Okay. Now it's just tea and dumplings until we get to the D--"

Puzzled by her expression he looks back around and see's a Giant Rabbit Monster.."....What...The...Hell.."A Sweatdrop runs down the side of his face."What is with this place..People fused into the wall, weird ass monsters, and now Giant Demon Rabbits..Why do I feel like I'm in some made up storybook.."He said with a brief sigh.He lifted his sword up once more ready to follow Raz into the Frey when she decided to Attack.

"I'm ready when you are I suppose.."

(( OOC: OMG finally a post. Now, random observation: Beast, while that post is totally cool, I'm fairly certain a griffin would've killed itself if it attacked that way... especially if it crashed through a solid stone ceiling like Gary just did. Remember, they're in a room? That post was really hard to make any sense of so uh, in the future...please a tiny bit more attention to what your character is doing in battle and a bit less powerplay with NPC creatures ^^; ))

Location: Morris Castle - Throne Room

Ryan had only one moment to blurt a warning to Cerden as he charged. "Cerden, wait! That thing's demonic, don't just--"

And yet Cerden did jump the gun, and brought a freakin' griffin to the fight, to boot. Ryan just stood and stared with a dejected look as Cerden and his griffin thrashed the rabbit pretty hard. His whole plan, which he had spent an entirety of 3 seconds formulating, the moment he saw the rabbit, had just gone out the window and into the pig's trough.

Unfortunately, for all its impressive moves and power, Cerden's assault wasn't enough. Ryan knew better than anyone that demonic beings didn't die easily--and they especially didn't die if you just hit them. You either had to throw another demon at it, kill it with magic, or have a paladin to ram up its ass.

With that thought in mind, Ryan leaned a bit towards Aedan. "Uh, dude, I hope you have an exorcist spell or something up your sleeve because we'll be...boned."

And propmtly, the rabbit shook belted a might shriek and had begun jumping around like a bucking bronco on steroids, thrashing Cerden around in the most insane fashion, slamming its sides against the walls to shake man and griffin off. It didn't seem to be slowing down either.

"Good times, huh?"

Ryan saw Raz emerge from the other side of the room behind the portrait that swung open like a door and he was elated; she had the mage elf girl with her!

"Raz, don't attack head on!" he managed to shout at her, pointing at Tali frantically while he made a mad dash towards the rabbit himself, drawing the longsword. Two tentacles emerged from the armor on his back and he suddenly leapt onto the rabbit's head, grabbing with the tentacles for a better hold.

"Holy shit--gah--stop! Don't--! Yikes!" he blurted as the rabbit moved suddenly before he had a good hold on the short fur. The sudden moved made him slip and he was now awkwardly hanging over one of the rabbit's eyes, very close to the mouth with the huge chompers ready to tenderize him to death.

Ryan grabbed one of the rabbit's ears as it flung its head from side to side hysterically, shrieking.

"Hit it...with magic!" he managed to shout but barely audibly over the rabbit's shrieks and then he bellowed in pain as the rabbit slammed it's head against the wall and he took the full brunt of it. A low crack let him know that at least two ribs were cracked and air was knocked out of him, leaving him breathless and dazed for a moment. His grip on the rabbit's ear and fur loosened and the tentacles uncoiled weakly.

Then the world un-blurred just enough for him to see the maw of the demonic rabbit opening wide and coming closer.

"AAH! FUCK!!" he blurted and the tentacles, and a lot more blood, suddenly laced around his arms and turned into full-cover armor. His back slammed against the wall again as he struggled, holding the rabbit's maw open with his arms, and they were shaking with effort. He cringed at the hot, acidic breath of this beast, heavy with brimstone and the signature stench of all things infernal.

The demon rabbit was attempting to bite him in two, and all Ryan could do was awkwardly hold the mouth open with his metal-clad arms, getting squished into the wall all the while.

Location: Morris Castle - Chamber underneath Throne Room

"I demand you relinquish your power to me, elemental..." the creature grunted, still within the circle of power. The being that was formerly the Duke was wreathed in shadows, as most of the candles and light sources in the chamber were snuffed out from the infernal power of the ritual just completed. "I demand you hand me your power, or suffer the consequences."

It was hunched over, the body still crackling with power it had only just acquired, and very well familiar with what was going on in the room above.

((OOC: ...OMG I can has a post?! Sorry for the long delay, but I've been out of the province, and unable to post for a while. I told Phoebe, and she told you guys, but still...I'm sorry Q.Q))

Tysorai cursed himself as he slid through the bookshelves and into the now-open passage. It wasn't long into the passage that Ty could hear the moans ahead. He didn't stop, but visibly shivered, thinking of the smell of the rotting flesh and putrid bones. Zombies, he thought, why did it have to be zombies? He splashed silently through a dank puddle, cursing himself for ten kinds of fool for allowing Raz and their group to slip past him, and another ten for willingly running into a group of the one creature that he actually feared. He counted himself fortunate that dealing with zombies was a simple matter.

And it was therapeutic to hear the sound of the brain being twisted in half.

Tysorai did not have to run long before he encountered one of the zombies. From what he could feel and hear, he was in a narrow passage, maybe an underground network of caves, and dealing with the zombies would be unavoidable. Luckily they were clumsy, slow, and only too easy to dodge around. Tysorai leapt over the first, landing squarely on a second zombie and braining it with both of his daggers in the center of its head. A quick twist brought an end to its moaning, and Ty carried on through the tunnel.

How long Tysorai continued parkouring and braining he did not know, but he lost all sense of time when he smelled Raz and her group ahead, and the scent of zombies was almost entirely gone. There were a few stragglers, but nothing to be worried about. Tysorai smiled, but that smile vanished when he heard a loud roar and Ryan's voice. "AAH! FUCK!"

Tysorai could smell Ryan's scent near another, foreign scent. It took a moment for Tysorai to recognize it, but after a second (not idly spent; Tysorai had the pleasure and terror of braining another zombie that got in range of his daggers) Tysorai realized that the scent had that dark tinge to it, like the soldiers from the courtyard. And...hasenpfeffer? A smelly, giant rabbit? Tysorai heard the creature roar, and drew back into the shadows. He may have been seen by Raz or the others, but he had no desire to stay that way. He quickly grabbed onto a pillar away from the battle and began to climb up to the ceiling. With luck, there would be a beam or something he could grab onto. If not, it was still an easy jump.

Tysorai's hopes met a compromise with his surroundings. Instead of a beam there were a series of ropes, from which Ty suspected hung flags or emblems of some kind. He balanced himself on them, keeping the ropes pulled tight together with his front claws and using his back paws to push himself forward slowly and silently. There was little heat here. That was good; no windows or anything for sunlight to come through and give him away.

Tysorai continued forward until he found his way to the end of the rope, tied tightly to a pin screwed into another column. The rabbit monster was almost directly in front of him, and Ty heard his opportunity as the monster roared. Tysorai leapt from his place against the column...

And his daggers sunk straight into the skull of the beast.

OOC : crappy post is crappy, but at least I get one in! ^^
--------------

The changed Duke still had Seth in his grasp, not much he could do about it; but it sure as hell didn’t mean that the gem had to like it. The air in the room had only worsened after the Duke had his way with his alteration, his voice had changed, his aura had changed; his very being was almost something different. Who would want something like this happen to them?

A new command towards the azure gem was uttered, to give his powers into the service of the Duke. The dim lights made it hard to see; even for Seth that was rather close to the creature. Had Seth been able to smell he would most likely have gagged and gotten nauseous from the very air, though the elemental could not feel anything without aid of water in contact with the gem; to translate the external particles into things he could understand, things he could ‘feel’. It was still very clear that the energy seeping off this changed man was not good for him; Seth’s vision flashed a little when the Duke threatened him, almost as if he forced a little of his otherworldly energy into the small item to show it who is boss. The deep orange-red mixtures of a smoke like haze came to view in the gem’s outer peripheral vision. Had he been able to feel pain in this form odds were that he would have it far from pleasant.
“You petty mortal, you change yourself to gain more power; you willingly destroy your body with these… forces, just so you can gain more power. And you try to command mine by force? You are not worthy of even holding me in your hands; you are less worthy than bile-filled sewer water” The elemental’s offensive words meant more if you considered that he was a being of pure water when he took form, any contained water was looked on with severe disgust.

Tali wasn’t quite sure what was going on when she burst out of the door. She knew the others were behind her, and she could even hear Raz and her yelling. However, what really though her off was a rabbit. It wasn’t some ordinary rabbit… it was a rather large rabbit, and it didn’t look too happy at all. In fact, it looked quite the opposite of happy. It was then that she heard something from Ryan. Was it Ryan? She wasn’t very good with names at times.

“Hit it… with magic!” That did sound as if it was directed at her. After all, who else used magic? Ryan was on the head of the giant rabbit… so hitting that was out of the question, and she wouldn’t be able to get off from Berhu’s back without her leg splitting in two from the pain. While she was planning her attack, she witnessed the Rabbit slamming it’s head into the wall with Ryan still clinging to it’s ears. Without a doubt that had to hurt… but what really made her smile was the fact that his blood… tentacle… things were forming armor on him.

She wanted to study him so badly. What kind of thing was he? There was so much to be learned! As the rabbit tried biting him into, Tali lifted her arm in the air. “Silly rabbit,” she started as she launched a stream of lightning at him. “Tricks are for kids!” However, as she launched her lightning, she saw the other one… Ty… was it? He had jumped on it’s head. However, she couldn’t stop what she had already shot. “O-oh no…”

(( OOC: :D Hee, Tali~ I'm sure Ryan won't mind letting her 'examine' him. ))

Location: Morris Castle - Throne Room

The rabbit froze the moment the blades penetrated the skull with a pair of hair-rising cracks like fracturing rock. A shattered grunt issued from its throat and Ryan felt some of the force behind the jaws he was struggling so hard to keep open lessen. But he could still feel it breathing. He tried to move but the rabbit slumped against him, pressing him onto the wall, its jaws twitching erratically like it was still trying to take a bite out of him even though it was in its last throes.

Ryan grumbled; he still wouldn't let go of the jaws for fear that the rabbit might make a final thrash and nab him, and he was getting squished against the wall. However, worst was still to come when he heard the crackle of lightning.

Oh shit--Tali!

"Ty! Ty get off it, get off it--" Ryan blurted in an uncharacteristically panicky manner, his armor turning liquid and retreating from his arms. "Leave the daggers, just get off--"

He tensed up, aware that the lightning magic was going to hurt real bad and a tentacle shot out from his side and curling into a crude fist, shoved into Ty in an attempt to knock him off the rabbit before the lightning hit.

When it did, it was fairly bad; the body of the demonic rabbit jolted violently and tensed, the beast shrieking in pain. The daggers still stuck in its skull acted like conduits, driving the electricity straight into its brain, quite literally frying it. A stench of brimstone and...hasenpfeffer, of all things, emanated from the rabbit. It jerked erratically a few times.

Ryan, still pinned against the wall by the rabbit's head, got a bit of it too, feeling a nasty sensation of a million needles pricking him and his skin stretching like it was trying to flay off him and run away. His muscles tensed and the tentacle he'd used and didn't have time to pull back tensed in strange ways and sparked rather violently.

"GYAH! OW! OW! OW! OW!" Ryan shouted in pain, feeling like his chest was going to explode.

His protective amulet was probably what saved him. Though normally something to keep him safe from holy power, its protective powers kicked up to shield him from suffering a heart-attack from the electric spell. The amulet sparked against his chest, sizzling a cross shape on his skin, but that was probably the worst of it; the other burn sores on his skin were less nasty.

The rabbit slumped at last, very surely dead, its hind legs twitching a few more times before stopping. Ryan groaned, dragged down by the now dead weight of the rabbit's head and was pinned on the floor against the wall under it.

"G-get me out from under this!" he said breathlessly. "Holy shit, Tali, remind me never to piss you off!"

((OOC: :D Go on people, have a brief victory fanfare. But don't leave the room! There's more fun to come!))

Tysorai heard the incoming lightning and made to move out of the way as Ryan shouted at him, but was pushed aside roughly by something that smelled strongly of blood. But it was solid. Ty gripped his daggers hard, but the force of the push pulled them out with him. Ty went flying through the air, and struck a column. He fell to the ground limply, and as he pushed himself up thought, Damn that demon, I could move myself!

Ty heard Ryan shriek in pain, and the sound of crackling lightning was isolated near the rabbit he'd just tried to slay. He plucked his daggers from the ground as he moved forward quickly, sheathing them. "Ryan you idiot," he growled, "I could have moved on my own!" The crackling around the rabbit dissipated, though a few sparks could be heard here and there. Tysorai grabbed its side and pushed hard, trying to get the rabbit off Ryan.

"You are an idiot," he growled at Ryan. "Could somebody lend a hand? I'm an assassin, not a brute." He twisted and used his shoulder to push, doing his level best to use all his weight and strength. The rabbit was fat; it didn't move an inch. "At least we'll be having some good meat for supper," he grumbled wryly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

((OOC: wtf is it with me and short posts recently? God xD))

"Oh shit." Raz sheathed her sword and ran over to help Ty with the rabbit. "On three," she said, bracing herself against it. "One... two... three!"

She heaved with all her might. Sonofabitch! What the hell does a giant rabbit eat? The demonic rabbit only moved a few inches before she had to stop, gasping. the thing had to weigh at least a ton. "Again... One... two... three!"

A few more inches. More gasping for breath. "Tali, can you get Berhu over here, and help push this thing off?"

“Very well,” Tali said. After all, it was somewhat her fault that Ryan ended up on the wrong end of what could potentially be a rather large rabbit stew. As she urged Berhu forward, she realized just how big the rabbit was. From a distance, it was large enough… but being up close to it was a whole new experience. It made Berhu look like a small puppy in comparison. As Berhu neared it, Tali couldn’t help but touch the large rabbit with her hand. Even with it being gloved, she could still feel the rough, yet somewhat soft, texture of the rabbit’s fur.

She placed her arm back to her side and gave Berhu his orders. “Push against it as hard as you can, and do not knock me off. I cannot stand at the moment, remember?” With a grunt, Berhu began pushing forward on the rabbit in an attempt to get it of Ryan. “As hard as you can. If you do a good enough job, perhaps you can eat some of this overgrown carrot thief…” That appeared to have done the trick. With an even louder grunt, Berhu started pushing at the rabbit much harder as Tali grabbed onto his fur so that she wouldn’t fall off.

With a great heave, and most of Berhu's help, they pushed the rabbit off Ryan. The heavy corpse landed with a booming thud on the floor. Shaking her head to rid her vision of the spots that had appeared there from the effort, Raz knelt next to Ryan.

"Don't move,"
she said sharply and gently poked his ribs. "Can you breath? Any shortness of breath?"

The fighting was over for now. Cerden used his quite observant eyes to view what had gone down in the minute or probably less time that passed, and all hell broke loose.

After Gary and Cerden launched their attack on the Demonic Rabbit, it only surprised it, but quickly it sent them flying like a swatted fly from an incoming hand. It was all too close for comfort, if you were to ask Cerden. Then, this is where Ryan came into the picture, and did his attacks. It was for the most part that it was successful, but as it happened with Cerden, Ryan underestimated the rabbit, and it swatted him like a nasty fly. He broke a few ribs from the sounds of the cracks that Cerden heard.

“That had to hurt..” Cerden commented quietly on Ryan’s misfortune.

When Cerden was just about to lose hope, the furry dude from before…Ty came into the picture. He came so fast, Cerden almost missed him, but just out of the corner of his eye, Cerden caught him, and the furry guy was on top of the rabbit’s head with the two daggers six inched deep into it. It all happened so fast.

Ryan knew how to kill this thing, so he ordered Tali to fire some kind of magic. And of course, she would fire an overpowering, and quite overkill lightning strait at the Rabbit, but this was all in the same moment that Ty came into the picture, and before he knew it, it was coming right at him.

“He’s gonna have to ditch the daggers” Cerden said in the heat of the moment.

It was thankful that Ty knew of his surroundings, so he didn’t get too hurt, but the same can’t be said about the demon bunny. Due to the head strike, and a lightning spell at full force, it was fried more then overdone fries. In other words: It was fried meat.

Cerden noticed that Ryan was just hanging out…not like he had a choice. So, Cerden ran over to him with Gary to follow.

“You look pretty banged up.” Cerden said with a smirk, and then he kneeled down on one knee as his hands began to have an eerie green glow to them.

Cerden turned to Raz, giving her a genine look. “I‘m going to have to have you step to the side, little lady“ Cerden said as he kneeled on one knee.“This might sting, but trust me I’ll have them ribs fixed up to the working order.” Cerden said as he placed his hands over Ryan’s ribs as Raz was checking to see if their were broken or whatever.

Aedan had heard the roar along with everyone else, and when he did, he could feel his heart skip like 4 beats. He knew he wasn't in a good enough position to do anything against anything, but he didn't want them to know that he was essentially useless without his missing items.

"Because if it's part-demonic, that means we can kill it. I mean, Aedan's a paladin--he probably deals with demonic shit everyday! Come on!"

"Yeah, if only you knew how much demon killing I've actually done. You probably wouldn't believe me if I told you, anyway."

Shrugging, he stayed at the back of the group, sticking close to the wall in case something jumped out at them as they went. As he walked, Aedan kept looking at the pictures that hung on the wall, noticing that each one looked more and more weird than the last one. Thinking there might be a reason behind this, he stopped at each one, closely examining them to make sure that nothing was wrong. As he got to one, a picture of a circus at night, but way more distorted, he could hear a battle raging ahead of him.

"Fuck it, I'll check this one, then I'll go help out or something. Who knows, I might get lucky."

No sooner did he utter those words and start to move the picture did the walls start to vibrate, and the picture that he was moving fell down, revealing a large cubby hole, with a pair of items inside, both of them wrapped up in some kind of cloth material. Eyeing the hole briefly for traps and not finding any visible, he quickly reached in, grabbed the items, and sidestepped away from the hole, anticipating a trap to spring. When he realized that the battle had seemed to stop, he knelt down and started to remove the wrapping from the items.

"Holy jesus, I'm in business."

As he finished unwrapping them, he almost let out a shout of joy. He had found the missing pieces to his puzzle, all nice and shiny, like they were when he had them last. Putting the helmet on his head and grabbing his sword, he followed the hallway the rest of the way, and saw what the commotion was about.

"Damn, that's a big fucking bunny." He said, as he walked over to Ryan.

Aaron placed his sword back onto his back again, after which he watched as Raz and Berhu push the Giant corpse off of the man, after which she knelt and talked to him.It was amazing at how they could move such a massive thing on their own.He looked around and saw no more enemies strange since this was the throne room for the king of the castle..

"Well, now what..no one's here aside from us.."He said before walking over to a pillar and leaning on it.
