[RP] Kingdom Hearts: Into The Dusk

Raven Otsdarva
Found

Raven continued firing at the Heartless with his Pistol before it clicked, the sound of no ammunition in the cartridge. Putting the gun in his holster due to lack of sufficient cover around him, he summoned his Keyblade as two Armored Knights came in and swung at Raven. The pony-tailed Keyblade wielder parried the attack before launching a knee right at it. The other one would charge at him, moving in for a stabbing motion, but keeping an eye on it, Raven would jump up, using his Aerial Dodge manuver to clear the Heartless over. Flipping himself a bit, the man came down on the Heartless, a downward slash at his back would cause it to disappear. Raven followed up by throwing his Keyblade, forming a circular blade which cleaved through the other Heartless. The Keyblade flew back to him in a boomerang before Raven caught it in his hand.

He felt a presence approaching from behind and Raven got into a defensive stance, only to see Laleth over there, a fact that put him on ease a bit. "Laleth?! W-What are you doing here?" He just realized how stupid the question sounded and immediately retorted. "Never mind that, where's Tsuki?"

PFC Lina Davis and the Corporal
1st Med Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment
Rescue

The two female medical officers quickly walked up to the damaged Warthog. Davis was carrying her medical kit with her as they moved towards the man, looking barely out of his twenties. The Corporal placed her hand on the brown haired boy's neck, feeling a weak pulse coming from the boy. "Davis, get the flares and pass me the kit. This guy is in no position to fight." The Corporal said calmly, taking full control of the situation.

"Yes ma'am!" She said as she put down the kit and quickly opened it, pulling out a flare stick. It took a few seconds but the Private would light the red stick, a brilliant blue light sparking at the tip. She would then start to wave it, signaling a Pelican to come and pick them up.

Meanwhile the Corporal would pull Tsuki out of the Warthog and began to look for a pulse again, when it was shown that he was losing it. She would begin chest compressions, at least 20 chest compressions before she moved down and began breathing some air down his windpipe.

(M) Capture the Third Bunker & Destroy Enemy Sniper Points (Raven, Luna, Elaine, Chao, Desiree, Laleth)
The Third Bunker is guarded by enemy sniper points. In addition to standard Heartless, there are snipers and anti-tank shocktroopers ready to give our forces a hell of a fight. It is imperative that these Sniper Points are destroyed and the bunker Captured so we will have a forward base to assault the fortress.

Kaufman

Claustrophobic

Kaufman let rip with the mounted vulcans on her tank, shredding through barriers and sandbags. It was all good, but she has come to a stop at the front of the trenches, which meant that there was no room to perfrom evasive maneuvers and as a result, it didn't take too long for a RPG to come screaming down from a hidden high point and impacted on the side. Luckily, at such range, its accuracy was not great and the rocket only destroyed her tracks. Smoke billowed from the side, forcing Kaufman to ditch her tank.

Well, it was fun while it lasted....

While still functional, with the tracks now blown to bits, Kaufman could only make her tank drive in circles and no doubt if she kept firing, more RPG would come raining down. That and her vulcans were about to run dry. Outside, away from the metal shell she just rode in dust were being kicked up everywhere and bullets whizzed by. Streaming forward were countless RoL soldiers and not willing to be left behind, Kaufman followed along. However, Kaufman baulked and stopped her charge when the soldiers she was with dove into the trenches. While she wasn't actually claustrophobic, Kaufman hated confined spaces. That was why Shiva, her airship, was roomy. It was also awfully dirty in there. Instead, Kaufman stood at the top, headshotted the few Dark Soldiers that she could see before falling back to where she saw Raven.

A flying heartless dive bombed at Kaufman, knocking and pinning her to the ground. It had wierd wing like ears and boxing gloves on its hand, which it used to swing at her. With barelky enough time to dodge, the glove grazed her cheek and in response, Kaufman returned its favour with a punch of her own before drawing her "apple peeler" and jamming it up the underside of its head. While the monster writhed, Kaufman continued the punishment with a beatdown with Ark until it dispersed into dark wisps. Taking no break since she was out in the open, Kaufman double timed it towards Raven and to her eternal shock, the little one was there.

Raven, it appears Ms Chao and Ms Eliane had gone into the trenches.... and little one. What are you doing here?

Crouching behind a small cover, Kaufman began returning fire with deadly accuracy. With fire teams inside the trenches, do they wait for them to clear out first or do they attack to draw fire away from them?

Having blacked out for what felt like longer than it actually was, he woke up to a stranger's lips around his mouth, after a few moments he registered their owner as a woman. Mentally laughing to himself he realised he must have reached his limit, amusing that he would have to be revived like this. His darkness felt like it was dormant once again, feeling the slightest of energy restoring itself to him he placed his hands on the woman's shoulders to pull himself up, however his added weight and weaker condition did just the opposite, pulling her closer to him.

Hearing a sound of shock from another woman nearby he quickly let go, yet was too tired to utter an apology, simply letting out a light groan and a dismissive hand.

Chao

The gun bunkers were getting knocked out one by one as the teams moved out from where the fire teams entered into the trenches. However, when whole sections of trench bunkers go silent, it was bound to grab attention and the Heartless began to send scout teams down to investigate. This was proving troubleseom as their shock tactics were slowing down and without enough men, the fire teams were not going to be able to continue their push.

Raven, how is the situation up there? Our advance within the trenches is slowing down. They're sending men to probably retake what we took. If you can, we could use some reinforcement down here.

And on cue, a bullet whizzed down the trench and shattered the wooden post to Chao's right. Another squad had set up a choke point to hold their advance, though with a few quick grenades, the trench was clear again. Chao did not have high hopes of gaining any more grounds. The last squad had already begun barracading a chokepoint and they were going to get more fortified as they go before they set up a MG. And THAT was not good.

Alright, they're beginning to dig in. We'll keep moving for now. If the main army can't send reinforcement, we'll booby trap those Heartless mongrels and let them walk to their own deaths.

Reloading their weapons and scavanging grenades and essentials from the HEartless,Chao's team continued forward, ears open to see if Raven get send any reinforcements.

(OOC: Sorry I couldn't reply sooner ya'll. I was meaning to reply sooner. I'll try not to let something like this happen again to this RP.)

"Laleth?! W-What are you doing here?"

The small girl frowned menacingly before Raven continued. "Never mind that, where's Tsuki?"

"Well first things first I was left behind on the ship. I am a warrior too yaknow." Laleth sighed as she felt relieved to say what was on her mind.

With the soft tone of aspired maturity Laleth continued." Tsuki is somewhere back through the woods I just left."

Laleth spoke glancing at Kaufman as the woman strode over. She waited for a response until her she remembered something important. "Oh! I almost forgot! The Normandy was overrun with heartless when we left. Tsuki's wounds seem to be healing fine. He just needed a little push to get going again." Laleth smiled, not even realizing her own ignorance of leaving a wounded man alone in an island bustling with battles.

Laleth now having reported to both Raven and Kaufman Laleth turned directly toward Kaufman as she flicked her wrist to instantly summon her keyblade. "Will you please point me to the trenches where the others are? I desire a fight, and a good one." the little girl spoke, with a strong wanting and needing to become stronger and to gain more experience in battle.

While waiting for reply Laleth opened her black laced parasol once more and rested it upon her left shoulder.

Scolding

"Well first things first I was left behind on the ship. I am a warrior too yaknow."

Raven couldn't help but look annoyed, but he did not have time to argue, nor was it in his person to do it right now.

"Tsuki is somewhere back through the woods I just left."

"Wait, what?!?" Raven said, shocked and surprised. "You can't leave a man behind like that? What if he is injured!?" He knows he was being hypocritical, but nonetheless what he said was true.

Raven, it appears Ms Chao and Ms Eliane had gone into the trenches.... and little one. What are you doing here?

"Oh! I almost forgot! The Normandy was overrun with heartless when we left. Tsuki's wounds seem to be healing fine. He just needed a little push to get going again."

Hearing Tsuki getting himself injured made Raven think for a moment. Then, more bad news arrived from his comm ink from Chao.

"Raven, how is the situation up there? Our advance within the trenches is slowing down. They're sending men to probably retake what we took. If you can, we could use some reinforcement down here."

He sighed, annoyed and a bit disturbed by the developments of it all. Speaking to the comm link, he replied clearly, trying to not lose control of the situation, "All right...Chao, we'll be on our way." He then moved to contact Geminia on the situation.

"Geminia, this is Raven!, provide fire support for our allies in the trenches, it's too close for an air strike."

"Roger that, we'll have our tanks provide cover for you and your men."
Geminia responded from the tanks radio, before they aimed the tank's cannons at the hardened bunker.

The final communique was sent to Luna, who was with the troops preventing an encirclement. "Luna, this is Raven, I need you to take some of the men and locate Tsuki."

"Tsuki? What is he-"

"I'll explain later, go ahead and mount a SAR op."

PFC Lina Davis
Blue With Shock

The moment the injured soldier moved in to kiss the Corporal, she screeched, her face blue from the utter surprise of the moment. "H-He kissed you!!!" She looked as if she was going to have a heart attack right on the spot, but she shook her head trying to remain focused after the initial shock.

(M) Capture the Third Bunker (Raven, Elaine, Chao, Desiree, Laleth)
The Third Bunker is guarded by enemy sniper points. In addition to standard Heartless, there are snipers and anti-tank shocktroopers ready to give our forces a hell of a fight. It is imperative that these Sniper Points are destroyed and the bunker Captured so we will have a forward base to assault the fortress.

(M) Find Tsuki (Luna, Lachesis)
Tsuki is being tended to by two medics, but despite being behind friendly front lines, they may be in danger from Heartless stragglers. Rendezvous with the three of them and ensure that Tsuki is safe from danger.

Hearing the high pitched screech from behind her, Lachesis swiftly pushed herself out of the man's grip and turned to face her, still crouched over the man. "Please calm yourself, if you have any comments to make save them for when we're off the battlefield. All your noise could alert the heartless"

Turning back to face the man, she could see his conciousness fading "Alright, we're going to have to move him out, he doesn't seem to have any physical injuries that seem apparent so we needn't be delicate about it, it looks like all he needs is rest" bringing the man to his feet using herself as a crutch she turned around to face Davis "keep an eye out for heartless, if any show up then stay close, the last thing we should be doing is getting seperated. With luck we won't be left alone for long, neither of us are battle hardened soldiers so I don't think we'll be without support"

Laleth walked away from the two spotting a bunker in front of her. From what she could tell it was heavily guarded. She could spot many heartless crawling about looking quite disgusting in her opinion. She personally began to tire of these creatures, but of course she knew that there was only one way to get rid of them. With her parasol in one hand and keyblade in the other she ducked behind a piece of odd shaped rock that seemed to form a wall sprouting from the ground.

"Oh these guys are really packed together." she whispered to herself trying to figure out a plan of attack.

A small rustle came from behind her, sending a chill up her spine. Laleth knew that next to nothing could be done if she didn't take out the deadly threat of snipers on the roof. The one she particularly eyeballed had guards pacing the grounds in front. They weren't of the highest priority. Laleth knew she would have to rely on the others to attack while she distracted the enemy with her first strike. Laleth watched the guards pace. She took a breath and gripped her keyblade tightly as she rushed forward.

She put her Parasol in front of her so as to shield her. "HEY!" She heard someone scream as bullets whizzed past her. Once she had gotten within meters of the bunker Laleth tossed her parasol toward the crowd of guards in front of her and leaped into the air towards a roof sniper. All was going according to plan until a shot was fired which caught her square in the leg. Laleth went jolting forward towards the roof and slashed down toward the roof sniper, ignoring the pain in her leg until she was brought down by gravity. The smack of her injured leg against the roof of the bunker sent her wailing in pain and surprise. The small girl wcould feel her own blood rushing out and for a few moments she felt dizzy.

Her wail would send more enemies her way, but the more she bled out, the more she craved the blood of the approaching soldiers. "Death!" She sighed out as another wave of bullets flew inches over her head. Her faithful summoned creature taking the appearance of a grim reaper emerged to shield her and gazed at the bleeding girl. "Kill everyone upon this roof in my place. Don't disappoint me." She commanded over the loud gunfire.

her voice had turned harsh and her heart was getting colder. She was craving her enemies' blood, and that was all she knew.

Chao

Stalled

God damnit. Stay low. STAY LOW!

Worse case scenario has happened. The heartless had managed to erect a temporary strongpoint within the trench and despite the fireteam managing to down the machine gunner and his gun, their entrenched position behind the sandbag ,eamt they were close to impervious from their small arms fire. Already, she lost a man and two more with hefty wounds. In effect, her squad was down to two thirds. Bullets pinged and riccochet off the wall every time they tried to peer around the corner.

Man, the way they're shooting, its as if they have too many bullets to store!

That may actually be the case.

All right...Chao, we'll be on our way."

Alright. Good to hear.

Almost instantly, cannon barrage battered into the bunker behind the strong point. At the very least, it kept reinforcements occupied. Her soliders weren't going to be any use here. With zero grenades and the enemies willing to empty a clip every time they poked their heads out, the team had to rely on some heavy duty magic.

Well... shit. Guess i have no choice.

Closing her eyes and emptying her thought and concentrated on her right hand. The memories of Phoenix's powers were still vivid and if the other summoners could use the powers of their summon freely, then so should she. Mustering all that she could, Chao tried to recreate the attack that Phoenix tried to perform, that fire beam thingy. When Chao felt that she was at her limit, she opened her eyes and glanced hopefully at her hand and was woefully disappointed. Phoenix's ball was only a small golf ball sized, but it dealt massive damage. However, Chao's one is a mere marble size and she had not forgotten to take into consideration the difference in power level (its over 9000!!!!!!!! XD). Gritting her teeth, Chao swung out and in a sweep, letting the beam out. It was pitiful really, but it did something. The beam diced through the sandbags, leaving scorched marks and spliced open the front four soldiers chest, though it did not dice them in half and continue on. Nonetheless, her soldiers were professionals and seeing the break in enemy fire, pressed on their own and moved up.

Alright. Reinforcements should be on the way. lets keep momentum up and take the next bunker while they're preoccupied with the tanks. From there, we should be able to assault up into the sniper nests.

As Chao pushed off from the wall, a small twinge passed through her hand. Charging forward, Chao took a glance and notices small glowing white lines on her palm before it subsided quickly, which she pushed out of her mind.

OOC: Shit... a quick post for Kaufman. Ill have her snipe around and stick with Raven, so if you are moving along, Kaufman is gonna stick with you

Kaufman

Raven was staying put on the main field, sending orders and directing troop movements. With most of the officers off going after their own objectives, Kaufmen decided to stay with Raven and provide some cover fire. From behind the cover of a wrecked tank, Kaufman slotted up the sniper attachments onto her rifle and dug herself under the chassis and peeked through the track and gears of the tank. It was time to go sniper hunting. Adjusting her scope, Kaufma's finger slowly tensed and the trigger moved smoothly before the gun bucked and through her sights, Kaufman saw the sniper's head rock backwards as the roung punched through his other eye.

Mark one.

Along a white armband she just tied on, Kaufman used a piece of charcoal and drew a single strike. Another shot and she made another mark.

Luna Thermidor and PFC Lina Davis
Finding Tsuki

A pair of Heartless, both of them soldiers, were sneaking their way towards the front lines when they saw three people, presumably Realm of Light soldiers. One of them seemed down on the ground while the other two were kneeling beside him. Sharpening their claws, and nodded at each other, they jumped out and closed in on the two. Lina turned around and was startled to see the Heartless arrive, pointing her gun at them. Her hands were shaken with fear. "H-Help!!!" She stammered out as the Heartless closed in. As the two Heartless raised their metal claws, the trailing Soldier Heartless was blasted away with a Blizzara blast to the side of the head in which he had little chance of dodging. As the other Heartless turned to see its partner vaporized in a cloud of frost and dark energies, it turned towards where the blast came from, revealing to be a black haired keyblade wielder with her arm extended out. As the soldier turned and charged at the Keyblader, she blasted it as soon as it could reach, destroying it instantly.

Coming down the hill, Luna ran over to Tsuki and the two medics. "Are you two okay?" She asked, looking at both Lina and Lachesis. "Oh thank you, thank you!" Lina exclaimed, standing up and hugging the Keyblade knight, thankful that she was still alive.

"H-Hey, let go of me! I said let go!!!" Luna said, wriggling to get her body out of Lina's grip, must to the Keyblader's embarrassment and from within her mind, Shiva's humor.

Raven Otsdarva and Elaine Chevalier
A Brush with Darkness

Watching Laleth walk off to attack an enemy sniper position, Raven put the pistol on it's holster and extended his arm. His focus was now on breaking through this stalemate on the third bunker. His hand began to glow red as he looked down on at the enemies at his front. With as much effort as he could, Raven aimed his hand upward and shouted "FIRE!" The Fireball shot out of the Keyblade Knight's hand as it curved downwards, like a mortar, the mortar immediately impacted at enemy positions sent to surround Elaine and Chao from behind.

Theme-On the Edge of Darkness

The focus was cut short when he heard a wail coming in from on top of the bunker. Looking up in the direction of the top of the tower, he saw Laleth on the ground, looking like she was injured somehow. "LALETH!!!" Raven yelled out, anger and fear starting to overtake him as his hands clenched into a fist, a black and purple aura emanating from it. Looking at Desiree, Raven said, "Desiree, cover my six. I'm heading for the bunker." Whether or not she protested, Raven ran forward, grasping his keyblade tightly in hand, as he began a solo charge for the bunker. Through increasing firepower, he made a dash to the trenches and into a barrage of melee wielding heartless. Three of them, all armored knights came in to strike at him wit their swords, only to be cut down with a single slash. Raven cleaved through more of them, eventually making his way to Elaine as she was pinned down by enemy gun fire.

"R-Raven? What are you doing here? How'd you get here so fast?"
Elaine asked, surprised at his quick arrival.

"No time for that? Where's Chao?" Raven asked in a serious determined tone. "I need to know, Laleth's at the top of the bunker, I have to get to her before the enemy does!"

"What? Chao's over at the other side of the trenches, but we're still pinned down here!" Elaine said, followed by an explosion from a bomb nearby.

"Not for long you're not." Raven said as he stood up, throwing his Keyblade at the enemy Machine Gunner. The blade sliced through the gun turret and also went through him before acting like a boomerang and returning to his hand. The screams of others from the rooftops could be heard from above as more soldiers came falling off from the top of the bunker. The sight of a cloaked figure with a scythe in hand came back to Raven's mind. "That person, that was one of the creatures from the Stadium earlier..." Raven thought to himself before putting his hand on his head, closing his eyes for a moment.

"Raven, what's wrong? This isn't the time to be scaring your own friends you know!"

As Raven opened his eyes, his irises temporarily gained a golden-yellow color before reverting to his normal red "Don't you worry, I'll be fine. Now let's just get Laleth out of harm's way."

(M) Capture the Third Bunker & Save Laleth (Raven, Elaine, Chao, Desiree)

It is imperative that these Sniper Points are destroyed and the bunker Captured so we will have a forward base to assault the fortress.

Laleth is injured at the top of the Bunker, get to the top of the bunker as quickly as possible.

(M) Get Tsuki Out Of Danger (Luna, Lachesis)
Tsuki is being tended to by two medics, but despite being behind friendly front lines, they may be in danger from Heartless stragglers. Signal a transport to take Tsuki back to the Normandy to be tended to.

Quick Thinking

Laleth sat upon the ground feeling pain and watching her own blood pour out. She tried to keep her thoughts on fighting. According to her own contract with Grim, her thoughts were his thoughts and his actions were based on her thoughts. With this in mind she thought hard on fighting the countless soldiers and heartless who seemed to make their way to the top of the bunker through the stairs. It was difficult to control the summoned creature without her own ability to fight.

So with as much will as she possessed Laleth proceeded to use her own keyblade to rip a nice bit of lace and cloth from her dress, making sure to keep her thoughts only on battle and her head low enough to avoid the bullets from enemy troops down below. Laleth winced as she wrapped the cloth around the bullet wound. It was hard to stare directly at it as the wound continued to pour out fresh blood. Laleth wrapped her leg tight and tied it tightly. Grim on the other hand had seemed to have eliminated the rooftop snipers.

The sounds to aggression and war still rang out and Laleth, despite the pain crawled to the door leading to the lower level of the bunker. Hopefully Raven's team would defeat the soldiers distracted by her presence while she could defeat them from inside. summoning her keyblade Laleth used it to prop herself up. It was her chance to plan an escape but a part of her still desired to stay and fight.

((I was told to post whenever it suited, I see an opening… don’t worry, Takao isn’t going to be like so for long… Big entrances are just nice, in my opinion))

+Death. Destruction. War always resulted in such maddening and disgusting acts, committed by soldiers ruined by the fight, the argument of their country???? That was the way war should-if ever used- be waged. To fend off those who would take away that way in which those defending live, to enforce the ways of “superior” races. At the end of it all, war is just a proxy existence, a profitable situation in its current form. +

+But, this was different. The enemies, they were not our own brothers and sisters, our own race. They were creatures-both artificial and real- who’s only goal is to consume. To take that which doesn’t belong to them. Their favoured choice?? People’s Hearts. The engine in which purity is born from. Just like those that without love crave it evilly, those beings without hearts crave them despicably. The heartless don’t wage war, the commit genocide. +

+What a sight, Heartless flooding into a bunker of some sort. Enemy troops attacking the Light warriors. A cinematic sight, no doubt. The sea of little black “shadows”, mixed in with the taller, “Neo Shadows” seemed both plain and off putting. Number wise, it was completely overwhelming… But then again, size isn’t everything, now was? It was the will of the fighter, the resilience of their spirits… Its not those who can inflict the most that win wars, it’s those who can suffer the most and survive… Then again, it does help to do some damage. +

------------------------------------------------------
ENTER, TAKAO
------------------------------------------------------

“… Those Heartless, such simplistic souls…”

+A slice, the air slashed, a shadow body easily bisected across the torso. His grey coat blurred, his body moved fast. Crazy fast. Another soldier- one of those snipers on the roof- had caught sight of the man-boy and tried to fire back. The gun was cut half way up the barrel, before “grey hair” continued with the attack, an elbow to the jaw and-with a spin- a backward piercing stab through the abdomen. While the others took to a general attack through the ground, Takao had taken to the rooftop. +

+Tenkaippin gleamed with its blood-soaked blade while takao took himself to a light run. This run sped to a charge, as reinforcements’ came up the hatch down. At the summit of the ladder, the future sniper had his head roll from his shoulders, easily cut from the body. The dead weight of his body fell back, knocking down the other five soldiers down the hatch easy. A sickening crunch echoing from the bottom. Takao then followed them down, descending the ladder simply, with a slice down it. +

“Now… Where’s that other chick….”

+He inquired to himself, listening to the resounding of shells in the lower floors. With the sword grasped tightly within the fingers of his left hand, he headed down, crossing the metal mesh floor. Bullets crashing into the wall on his left, him being on a type of balcony hanging above the top floor. It was then that his eyes locked onto the woman in question, currently DIY’ing her clothing with one of the “Holy Keys, of ruination or restoration”. His quest: save her life. +

+His goals and powers may be the way of the middle, but his heart… That was good, at least its majority. He reached the end of the balcony, the zenith of the floor. Time to reach the kneader of the arena. With a hop over the edge of the balcony, he flew through the air- bullets pierced the tail of his coat, entered the fleshy section of his arm. Nothing major. With a roll to end his “shortcut”, he ducked under cover, beside the frame of the lower floor exit, across from the lady, covered in blood. Cool as a cucumber, he nodded towards her, his face decorated with a half smile, before another soldier tried his luck and came up the stairs, only to be cut into the drop-kicked back down whence he came.+

“…Sup??…. Fancy getting’ out, or do you wanna chill here for a bit??”

Desiree Kaufman

Picking up the Pace

"Desiree, cover my six. I'm heading for the bunker."

From the sound of his voice, even through radio static and degradation, Desiree could tell that Raven was in a rush. There was no time to be subtle and to hide her position. Every opportunity she gets, she'll shoot. As expected small arms fire began to ping off the chassis of the tank which Kaufman was hiding under. Regardless, with professional calmness, Kaufman methodically swept from right to left, taking out as many targets as possible. No longer was she just going for head shots, but instead, a torso hit was good enough. Raven was going to run through the open and it was up to her to keep the buggers off his back. When their leader was clear of the open ground, Kaufman backed up from the tank, displacing to a new area. It was probably time the main force was going to take a crack at the main bunker, since many RoL soldiers have infiltrated the trenches. Whilst running through after Raven, Kaufman broke her rifle back down to basic. Her run was cut short by a splatter of machine gun fire from the right, forcing Kaufman to dive into the trench

Crap... where am i?

Now in the trench system, Kaufman now had no idea how to get out. She couldnt climb up, lest she wanted to be plugged full of lead. Gritting her teeth, Kaufman made her way through the trench alone. The section she was in was deathly quiet, with neither RoL or Heartless soldiers around.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chao
No time like the present
The group had made even more progress. By now, they have busted out and cleared a fair amount of the trench guns that faced and fired on their troops. Already, from the opening they have created, under Raven's orders, RoL troops poured into the trench system, making their way towards the third bunker. Chao directed a section towards the snipers nest. For her, it was time to stop scurrying about and time to go knock down their damn doors. More and more troops stacked up at various points near the main bunker, all preparing to breach and clear the bunker. It was going to be tight fighting and the adrenaline was pumping inside each soldier. Heathen Flame in one hand and her shotgun in the other, Chao buzzed for Raven once more to report her position and whether she should push for the bunker
Raven. Come in Raven. Chao here. My men and i are stacked up outside near the main bunker. We can assault it at your discretion. Just give the order.
Final Push
Raven's heart pounded slowly as his head started throbbing. Elaine eyed him with concern. "Raven, you are clearly in no condition to fight anymore."
"I'm fine, I'll get past this quickly." Raven retaliated, the dark glowing receding from his fingers. His body felt...weird, as if a surge of rage had overtook him, was it really him? Is the war finally making him lose his grip on his own inhibitions?
A voice was heard on the radio, evident with what the soldiers were now surrounded, and they were close to finishing up here. Raven. Come in Raven. Chao here. My men and i are stacked up outside near the main bunker. We can assault it at your discretion. Just give the order.
"Raven, I'll link up with Chao, you should stay here before you get yourself hurt." Elaine said calmly. But Raven responded, lowering his hand off his face. "I said, I'm fine." Taking the radio, he said over the comm, "This is Raven, we'll be meeting up with you, ETA less than 30 seconds." After making the announcement, Raven went down the trench, now cleared out of enemies who were pulling back. "Come on, Elaine. Let's move." He went on ahead leaving Elaine behind. "I can see why Luna worried about you. Always putting your life on the line doing reckless things..." She thought. Turning in the direction of Desiree, who was pretty much lost in the trenches, she raised her hand up and waved. "Hey Desiree, let's meet up by the front of the bunker!"
Raven Otsdarva
Prepare to Breach
Raven found Chao and soldiers of her platoon stacked up on the outside of the bunker door. Taking position on the other side of the door, Raven held his Keyblade tightly in one hand as he charged his other hand with red firey energies for a Fire spell for some shock and awe. "Plant the charge..." One of the soldiers put a pair of square shaped charges on one of the doors. Designed to punch through even blast doors, the two of them was sure to create an entryway into the bunjer. As soon as the blast went off and a large, human-sized whole was created, Raven moved in and toss the fire spell in there to keep heads down, taking out a MG position before quickly finding cover amongst its walls.
“…Sup??…. Fancy getting’ out, or do you wanna chill here for a bit??”
Laleth looked over at the strange man with a piercing stare. She didn't know whether he was an enemy or a foe, whether he was offering his help or just mocking her own position. She knew nothing about this strange man but what she did know was that her temper was rising and she could care less about chatting at a time like this. "I....ugh!" Laleth managed to get out before turning her hatred toward the heartless scaling the bunker walls. "Grim!"
The reaper shaped figure moved to her and gathered the girl in his arms. Laleth could barely feel Grim's skeletal like arms holding her under it's black cloak. For now she had stopped the bleeding as much as she could for her wound. If she were nearby she was sure she could use certain blades of grass as a soothing ointment for the pain. But for now she instructed Grim to take her to the lower floors, completely leaving the strange man unharmed but being aware of hi presence.
Laleth wanted revenge and as Grim burst through the door leading to the lower level's Laleth's Keyblade had transformed into a bow, it's string looking like a part of the web in it's spider webbed design. Laleth used energy from her own chi, just as the maidens had taught her long ago. It glowed a neon purple and as she released the glowing spikes they sunk into more and more heartless troops coming up the stairs.
It took a while before the path was clear and before Laleth instructed Grim to carry her lower. The lower floor of the bunker seemed empty. Laleth wanted to act fast and so she jumped from Grim's arms and onto the bare floor, landing on her good leg. The small girl surveyed her surroundings. "Two doors leading outside." she mumbled before slipping into the darkness of a cupboard.
Using her own logic she would hid in here with her bow picking off any enemies that were to enter, and she knew very well that enemies would return, that they were swarming around outside but for now she would have to hold out here and bandage her leg again as the blood seemed to be soaking through the cloth covering it. Laleth winced and felt almost light headed. Surely a wound and the pressure of battle would have easily killed off any normal young girl, but she was determined to stay alert and alive. She couldn't die here, there was no other choice for her left but life.
The little girl waited a long while until a big hoard of heartless had busts within the room from the fields outside. Other soldiers accompanied them. Laleth couldn't start her bow as she thought. There were too many of them to go against her, just one little girl. And then her thoughts flashed to the mysterious warrior she had met on the roof. Was it too late to ask for his assistance?
Lachesis sighed to herself, watching her assistant overwhelm their rescuer. Still having Tsuki held up she walked over to Davis, pulling her off by the arm "If you want to kiss and hug so much, save it for when we're not getting shot at, personally i'd rather not be in danger right now if I could help it" with that said she released her and turned to the Keyblade Knight "Miss, can we move on now? I'm sure you would rather get this rescue mission finished as soon as possible"
Turning to grab Davis' hand so she couldn't pounce on the Keyblade Knight again she waited to be guided back to base.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Humph….”
+Just as Takao expected, his supposed “charity case” blew him off. It made sense, in fairness, as he was a stranger during a war. It would be quite the folly to take during warfare, in any other example. However, what he didn’t expect was that beast servant of hers; Grim or something? The named was definitely fitting-in the grey haired boy’s opinion. It sure as hell sent chills down his spine. But the chill only lasted a second, before he regained the composure from before. Takao couldn‘t even speak and the girl was off, heading for that obviously crowded exit. +
+But, instead of screaming after the other, Takao allowed her to get a half minute start before him. With his observations from the earlier entrance, he doubt that any great number of troops could gather at the bunker within the short space of time since Takao first entered the building. With a glance to his six o’clock, Takao quickly set off down the stairs to give chase, his sword held hip-side. From the fairly intense aura of the bunker, he guessed that an ambush waited for them below. However, as reality set in, Takao‘s pessimistic outlook seemed to brighten up. +
+That girl was pretty good. She took out the platoon that was based just below, with some magical spell. Takao was definitely dealing with a Keyblader here. A keyblader that was… nowhere to be seen?! Shit, did something happen to that chick? With a hasty run, Takao set down the path he considered that she’d take. If he was that girl, open battle wouldn’t be an option. She was wounded-after all. Maybe she had a vantage point? That would definitely help out. +
+And so, Takao was just about to him down the direction of that cupboard when…. Boom! Those twin doors swung open, those black creations of darkness smugly entered. At that exact time, his eye’s latched onto a glint. It was that other woman’s weapon, in the darkness! She seemed to be going for a flanking tactic. Linking up with her could help fluidity of battle… But first, where did they come from?! It was like they teleported just outside…+
“Oh Yeah…They can do that.”
+A soft, self-hating mutter of obvious information sputtered out of his mouth. God damn his rashness, his impulsive movements. He’d better start toning back that, else he might actually come against something big… Like double figures of Neoshadows and heavy duty troopers. He didn’t even look down below, for his mind had thought too soon. Takao was going to have to fight through those enemies below. Fuck it. Nobody achieved anything without a little risk. Plus, that chick probably needs some help. +
--------------------------------------------------------
BATTLE
--------------------------------------------------------
+Takao took two steps back, and then rushed forward. With skills of a parkour master, the grey haired warrior leaped from the balcony of the bunker floor, using the handlebar as a jumping point. The sword Tenkaippin gleamed from the overhead lights, alerting the attention of the central squad of soldiers. But, as a Corporal was just about to pull the trigger, Takao’s feet landed right against his chest- knocking the soldier into his own team. With a back flip, Takao regained his footing on the ground and rushed into the hoard. +
“..Redeem yourselves, in the purity of my magic…”
+His melodramatic statement was followed by a clicking of his right fingers. Now it was show time, as four swords-white like pure ice, hard as steel- surrounded Takao’s body. They seemed to be sentient, but where infact controlled by Takao. The foursome spread out around Takao in a square formation, each just outside of each others range, and began to spin at an insane torque speed. As the boy rushed forward, the blades followed his moments and began to slice and dice at the troopers- who were somewhat bemused by the Teen’s appearance in front of them before. They now readied their firearms, but it was too late for the front row- as they were bisected like a hot knife into butter. +
+But, the row of soldiers behind had begun to fire. Takao moved with agile sidesteps, splitting up from two of his swords. As the pair on the left continued forward with the high-speed blend, Takao and the pair on the right headed into the respective direction. But these swords were on the defensive, working as shields to ricochet bullets from their master, who was barely breaking a sweat… Yet. Takao’s weakness was his low stamina for magic, and for every metre away from his body, the amount of energy to sustain the weapons increased. +
Luna Thermidor and Lina Davis
Rescue Me
"If you want to kiss and hug so much, save it for when we're not getting shot at, personally i'd rather not be in danger right now if I could help it"
As soon as Lachesis made Lina release her grip on Luna she bowed her head. "I'm sorry, I just got scared, and..."
"No, no, it's okay." Luna responded, trying to save face, all while Shiva, from within her mind chastised her. "Well now, I didn't know you swing that way, milady." Luna tried her best to ignore her summon spirit as she turned her attention to the other medical officer.
"Miss, can we move on now? I'm sure you would rather get this rescue mission finished as soon as possible"
Luna nodded, "R-Right!" Before pulling out a signal flare from her pocket, letting her keyblade vanish, she opened the cap and began to try and get it lit. The brilliant blue flame of the flare began to flicker from the stick as she waved it overhead. It would be a full five minutes before a Friendly Pelican touched down near their position. "Come on...We'll take the Pelican back to the Normandy." Luna said as she began to walk in the direction of the Pelican.
Kaufman
Thankfully, Kaufman wasn't lost for long as Eliane called out for her. The soldiers were stacking up to breach into the bunker, a maneuver she herself had used many times. For such close quarters inside tight corridors and small rooms, the amount of lead she could pump out was probably more important than the caliber of the bullet. Arc was broken back down from its sniper form and slotted into the gun sheathe and instead, pulled out Valentine and Halloween along with her framed glasses. One may think that they would be useless in this situation, and they would be wrong. Far from being just an accessory, the lens are capable of low light assistance, IFF tagging and a basic HUD. Since their entrance would be shock and awe, Kaufman even activated the dual target assist, syncing each of her pistols. A blue filter flickered to life on the glass and from Kaufman's point of view, green outlines surrounded each soldier with Raven in radioactive green, showing officer status and with it, two reticules appeared, moving in accordance to where she pointed her guns. Normally, she wouldn't need it, but just in case, with this many people, it paid to be extra careful.
As the charges went off, Raven lobbed a fire spell into the bunker, in which Kaufman followed right being. Her sensors went off bracketing enemies in red and as quickly as possible, filled the room with plasma shots, downing 6 heartless with the 20 shots before the core overheated. Diving down next to Raven, Kaufman made way for the troops behind her as she awaited for the hammers to reset and the core to cool off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Chao

Rather than be the first to go through like Raven and Kaufman, Chao opted to enter at the time when the shock and awe had subsided. Given her abilities, the run of the mill heartless shouldn't be much of a threat to her. If she went in flashily, then perhaps she could draw attention to her and away from the troops entering. Shots were fired off from inside, making Chao impatient as she counted off the long seconds till she charged in.

5...4...3...2...1....

With a mighty battle cry, Chao rallied the troops behind her and charged into the hole, lobbing a few more fireballs towards the enemy before charging to the forefront of the force. Luckily, Chao had casted Aero beforehand. The return pinning fire failed to down the warrior. With brute strength, Chao kicked down a steel table that had been bolted to the ground to create a new cover to hide behind. She was now pretty close to a dug in position in which the heartless hid in. A bit of suppressive fire and Chao would have enough time to bound over the table and destroy it.

Cover fire! Cover fire!

OOC: Okay, way too long for one scene, time to start fast forwarding this...

Raven Otsdarva and Elaine Chevalier
Bunker Secured

The firefights had pinned Task Force 108 and 596 down as Heartless soldiers continued with suppressive fire now that their MG Nest was destroyed. Kaufman was behind Raven, while Elaine was on the other side, under cover as well.

Cover fire! Cover fire!

Transforming his Keyblade into his Laser Cannon, Raven took aim at the direction of the heaviest concentration of fire heading in Chao's direction. As the red targeting beam lit up, he shouted to the warrior. "You got it, Chao!!!"

The red beam shot out like a cannon, and in the direction of the enemy, vaporized a few gunners and several melee-capable heartless in the one beam. It also kept the other forces heads down, allowing the Realm of Light soldiers to put down suppressive fire to keep them down.

It wouldn't take long now, even with Chao's attack, some of the soldiers began to lay down their arms and put their hands up, with such superior firepower and quick, shock and awe strikes, the Heartless saw no reason to continue. Now there was an open path to the fortified city.
