[RP] Kingdom Hearts: Into The Dusk

Laleth Aires

The girl had seen the mysterious warrior come to her aid, but once the swarm of heartless entered her breathing got heavy. Laleth could see through a crack in the cupboard that the man fought skillfully and that the man spilled lots and lots of blood. So much so that Laleth didn't know if the dizziness she felt was from the wound in her leg or the desire to feed. Her own demonic desires were trying to invade. The small girl's vision had gone blurry and for a quick second her own strong fighting spirit gave in.

Laleth felt a feeling of sinking, of slipping away deeper and deeper into an unknown abyss. She could feel a presence of something evil. Something inside her that made her want to fight until no man was left in her path. This presence could sense Laleth's will to become powerful. It could feel her willingness to except the power to defeat her greater enemies.

In the girl's mind all was blank and she was vulnerable and injured. It was because of this that Laleth gave into her demonic desire. She wanted it. She let it fill her every fiber. Every muscle in her body. She wanted to tear them apart. It didn't matter who. Laleth's eyes flashed open and her teeth gritted. She could hear the battle ongoing from outdside of the cupboard.

The girl burst through the cupboard doors and stood quietly. Even upon her injured leg which bled heavily because of this act. It's pain scorched her being but not as much as her need for battle. "Kain..." she mumbled.

It was the name of the demon she had tried to summon against tsuki in the arena. It was the demon that only responded to her impulse. The deadliest demon who embodied the meaning of murder. The portal opened up right in front of her and a sickly looking beast escaped it. "Burn them all to the ground. Kill them! KILL THEM ALL!" Laleth's shout could be heard throughout the bunker.

She now had no regard for the mysterious warriors life nor the lives of her allies fighting outside. With a mighty roar the demonic thing let out a breath of fiery hell that shot through the walls of the bunker. "Burn it to the ground!" Laleth chuckled as she walked out of the bunker through a burned crater in a nearby wall.

The demon took to the upper levels, it's hideous figure unable to be described. It shout out a fiery stream that melted anyone and anything in it's path. Laleth on the other hand met a nice group of 4 enemy soldiers gawking at the fire enveloping the bunker.

"Pretty isn't it?" Laleth smirked as she ran for one of the soldiers.

Her small figure jumped upon the mans shoulders and catching his head between her thighs she swung around, snapping the man's neck swiftly. With her keyblade handy She stabbed another man square in the chest before grabbing his body as a shield from the gunfire of the other two. "Hehehe." Her chuckle was deadly.

Laleth easily could be mistaken as a heartless herself as her desire for battle and blood made her beastly. The girl ran right through the third and fourth soldiers with ease now. Seeing their mangled corpses lying on the ground the girl was not satisfied.

Takao Mishima
-------------------------------

“…What a waste…”

+A harsh murmur, caught between the shallow breathing of war. By now, Takao’s personal sword had cleaved through a total of 6 soldiers; while his magical blade’s slaughtered triple that. It was a complete blood fest, something he really should have avoided. That smell, one of Iron and carrion. It turned his stomach, threatened to reef the inwards from the digestive bag and vomit them all over the crimson dyed floor. His attacking potential lessened considerably, not from fatigue, but by mercy. The heartless deserved to die, yet the soldiers were another matter. Takao didn’t want his own moral crisis to destroy his mission’s eventual end- the less scars, the better. +

+By now, Takao’s magic blade’s had turned from their brilliant white, transmuting themselves. The magical weapon’s dyed themselves a dark grey, the edge’s sharpened up significantly and the blade spans contracted. The four teleported to their master’s position, orbiting Takao’s body and quick speed. He retreated from the thick of soldiers, backing from the door. Yet, there was not what he should fear, but from the inside. +

“….Why is it always demons??”

+A rueful sputter from Takao’s mouth filled the air, as he backed away from the fleeing soldiers. Obviously, Takao’s fighting with them did nothing- but a demon’s summoning completely scared them shittless. Still, this was nothing to previous encounters of Takao’s… rotting carcasses, wretched smells… It was all coming back, items he didn’t want to recall. +

+sadly, as resilient as Takao’s mind was, his body wasn’t made of metal. He felt the sting of a Full Metal Jacket crash into his shoulder, just avoiding a vital vein. Thank God he’d returned his prised katana to its sheath, before it fell from reach. His movement’s forced his body towards the newly, crudely crafted exit- yet, that demon pulled against his mind… Should he go after it, or the girl??+

“…Girl…”

+He rhetorically said, rushing out. He caught the slaying of four soldiers, with the sword of hearts, a Keyblade. Her acrobatics’ were definitely something he could watch, intently… Sadly though, the OTHER soldier’s decided to interrupt. A stray clip of bullets-aimed for his head- were narrowly avoided by Takao. It made sense, they hadn’t seen his heroics from inside; having telekenically controlled blade’s surrounding his body didn’t help either. +

“CALM DOWN! I’m on YOUR SIDE!”

+Takao screamed, moving forward, away from the fire’s of that pseudo-hell. He clicked his fingers again, dismantling his magical weapon’s while he rolled forward, away from another five bullets shot at him. He gripped his shoulder tightly, subsiding the continuous bleeding. Finally covered by some heap of scrap, his manner calmed down- as much as it can, when in proximity to some sort of fire demon. +

“Jesus…I was trying to save that psycho girl, who just made a new door through the fucking wall!”

OOC: Shall i bust us all the way through till near the end of the bunker?

Chao

With the superior cover fire that was being thrown that way, guns were being thrown down and people were surrendering. In this tight space, its hard to tell who is actually surrendering and who is still shooting. Unwilling to risk mowing down just anyone, Chao instead dove headlong into the main hallway that led towards. Her eyesight went slightly hazy with fiery red tinge creeping up into her eyes, but once again, the cracks along her arm glowed white and when Chao grabbed the face of one unyielding Heartless soldier and slammed it into the wall, her palm ignited into a stream of flame, killing the soldier. There was no time. Continuing her forward charge, white flames coursed down to her nails, giving her now a flaming claw, which she raked through any enemies that was still willing to fight.

With their defenses at the breach blown away, all heartless troops were in full retreat as R.o.L soldiers swarmed through the bunker in droves. As each cannon and port in the final bunker fell silent, the more and more reinforcements came through. True to her reckless nature, Chao had bulldozed headlong into the main rear of the enemy, not letting them even get a respite. The only thing that stopped her was the bulkhead closing in front of her at the cost of their rearguard. By now she had bullet scratches and scrapes all over her body and her clothes has seen better days. As she stared at the massive bulkhead, getting ready to blow it open, R.o.L troops stormed up behind her.

Ma'am! Save your energy! We'll get this thing open. Let our boys stack up for a sec and we'll open this baby wide open!

It was true that she was feeling somewhat puffed out. So stepping back, Chao watched the demolitions unit get to work. She didnt even complain as the medics patched her up. It was the final push, so having herself in top condition was probably good.

Okay.... we're about to go live!

All that was left was a push of a button and they're through.

Kaufman

The magical powers of the denizens of this sector of space amazed her. They easily cruise through legions of armed enemies as if nothing These guys would be super handy during tight ship battles and if they knew wide scale magic like in games, then knocking out opposing ships would be easy. Time for wishful thinking later. Instead of taking the main route, Kaufman too a side corridor that seemed to lead to a higher level. If they were going to be trekking into the final city, having some men on the higher levels to snipe and watch the ground troops' back would be good. Thankfully, the initial charge has sent all resistance in a full on retreat and besides having to pop one or two rear guard that wanted to shoot back, Kaufman, the marksmens and their escorts reached a smaller steel door after climbing numerous flights of stairs.

This should be it. Alright boys, cut it up and lets go.

With a blow torch, two trooper began cutting a large section from the door while everyone else covered. It was the longest few minutes of her life, again. Door breaching was the most nerve wracking and only the sound if metal falling from the door was relieving, like now.

Alright. Lets move out!

Quickly, a squad of escorts scurried out first, then the main body of marksmen before Kaufman and the last squad, covering the corridors. As the last trooper climbed through, Kaufman swept the area once more before clambering in herself.

(OOC: Since Oli's departure from FFF, I don't really have a plan on what to do now...so as of this moment, the KH RP is on hiatus...)

(OOC: Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War Trilogy is now out of hiatus. I will be taking control of Laleth with Oliver's blessing until the end of the Destiny Islands arc of Part 2. Our upcoming plan to go to the Land of Dragons will be removed and we will head directly to Disney Castle after the battle. I shall have a post up and ready sometime tonight.

Oh, and you all can G-Mod Laleth's Demons however you see fit.)

Raven Otsdarva, Elaine Chevalier and Laleth Aires
Devil May Cry

As Raven and Elaine were about to celebrate a job well done. They heard overworldly screeches and howls of laughter. Several of the soldiers tensed up as she saw a young girl, drenched in blood walk out.

"Laleth!"
Raven said as she walked up to her. But Elaine knew something was off. "Raven watched out!" Raven heard her friend speak as Laleth lunged in for the attack, aiming for the Keyblade Knight's heart. It missed her mark, only managing to dodge barely as she swung at her side. Raven clutched his side in pain as it left a deep gash on his side, drawing blood. "Dammit!" Raven said as he drew his keyblade, watching the half-demon girl move in for a sweeping strike at the legs, only to be blocked by Raven. "Snap out of it Laleth, Snap out of it!!!" Raven said as he moved in for an elbow to the face, which Laleth countered by leaving a cut on his arm.

As the Pelican touched down on the ground, Lachesis took Lina by the hand and walked her on board, after her previous display she didn't want Lina having another moment. As they both walked in Lachesis sat them down before the Keyblade Knight joined them.

Upon arriving on the Normandy Lachesis instantly heard the sounds of bangs and crashes, seeing it as obviously being an attack she kept Lina behind her and waited for the door to open, feeling Lina cling more tightly to her arm. In their current condition they wouldn't be able to get away from Heartless, much less with an injured man on board.

OOC: Ok, fighting IN the bunker then. Will you be exclusively playing Laleth Kevin?

Chao

The door busted down and the men charged through. Light, sporadic fire was sent their way, but from the outside, the sharp cracks of sniper shots quickly culled down the main resistance. Soon, the bulk of their force was charging through the new door whilst their snipers shot down straggling heartless as if it was a duck shoot. Chao took several steps out through the door and realised that they had this in the bag. The heartless has fallen and this was a Realm of Light victory. With the battle over, combat fatigue began to creep up as the adrenaline and tension dropped from her, only for it to skyrocket back up when she heard a commotion coming in from within the bunker. It was made worse particularly since it seemed to ahve originated from Raven's position and if it made such a ruckus with Raven and Elaine there, then that was enough of a reason to make Chao nervous. Leaving the celebrating soldiers behind, Chao roughly pushed her way pass the soldiers. Some was about to say something about it, only to hold themselves upon seeing who it was and the scary face she wore right now. Perhaps it was fatigue that had set in because Chao relaxed, but for some reason, she couldn't shake a slight numbing feeling in her body, particularly the slight prickling feeling in her right arm.

As Chao round the corner, she saw, pass the retreating soldiers, Raven and Elaine engaging in what appears to be Laleth. Whatever the situation is, Laleth needed to be subdued. Raven was crucial to the war effort and he was not expendable. Ignoring everything, Chao dove in, fair fight be damned. Reversing Ultima, Chao aimed for a neck chop, hoping to disable her as soon as possible. For what its worth, Laleth was still a small girl and a friendly. Chao had to hold back.

Kaufman

Kaufman was busy with her men taking shots at any heartless trying to resist. It was really an execution. So many heartless were still shooting back at their soldiers while they ran back in the open. While shooting a retreating soldier is in bad taste, they weren't exactly lying down and surrendering. Therefore, Kaufman felt no guilt whatsoever about it. Just as there was a lull in the the incessant sniper fire, there was fighting noises emitting from the bunker. She contemplated in heading back in, but decided to not. The men outside needed support and that inside a bunker, she wasn't particularly on her home field

You troopers. Cover that grill. Do NOT let any potential enemies to threaten us.

OOC: Yes, I will be exclusively playing as Laleth till the end of the battle. Also, I'm referencing an old shmup from back in the day.

Luna Thermidor and Lina Davis
Guardian's Knight

The moment that the Pelican touched down on the Normandy, they were immediately swarmed by Heartless. There was gunfire about, most likely from the personnel on board trying to defend themselves against attack. Luna opened the hatch as she summoned her keyblade. "Stay here, I'll try to keep them back." She said calmly as she stepped down and out of the airship. Using her hand she summoned a blue aura around her as she closed her eyes. She moved forward a little, away from the ship as she raised her hands and snapped her fingers. A series of ice pillars came down behind her, converging as a brilliant icy blue light came down on towards it. The brilliant blue light faded, revealing the figure of a woman, much older than Luna yet looking as beautiful as the purest white snow. The ice pillars shattered revealing the blue skinned woman, clad in a cape with nothing but a light blue bra and panties on her.

"Shiva, let's take out these heartless and get back our ship!"

"I see your priorities are in order..."
Shiva quiped sarcastically as she got into a battle stance.

Raven Otsdarva, Elaine Chevalier and Laleth Aires
Guardian's Heart

Raven stepped back as soon as Chao moved in with a neck chop using the guard of her keyblade. But Laleth wasn't amused, far from it. The young girl dodged the attack by ducking underneath her attack and then moved in to grab her arm. Once the girl held her arm tightly, she jumped up slightly, attempting to kick the woman in the side, just below the armpit. Laleth smiled wickedly as Raven went in to stop her from trying to pull Chao's arm out of place, or worse, pull her arm clean off her body. Raven used the flat of his key to try and aimed for her head. Laleth would move back, letting go of her opponent to slash at Raven's chest. The man was able to avoid the attack as the Half-Demon now put her attention back on Chao, using her keyblade to stab the warrior from Eastern Cloud. Raven tried to intervene, and would move to grab the child from behind, but Laleth countered with a hard kick to Raven's crotch, which not only made him let go, but brought him down to his knees.

Meanwhile Elaine was busy tending to the wounded as the three of them fought. One soldier had a large gash down his leg and he was unable to walk, so Elaine had to quickly drag him out of the way of the fight, all while the three of them traded blows, Laleth's lethal strikes to Raven and Chao's more heavy-handed non-lethal attacks.

Chao

Chao was taken by surprise when laleth dodged and managed to grab her arm. With a wicked smile, Laleth launched herself into the air and Chao figured out what she wanted to do. By grasping her arm and kicking heavily at her side, Laleth was attempting to dislocate, if not rip, her arm off. She wasn't going to have any of it, but before Chao could counter, Raven intervened. With the flat of his blade, he went for Laleth's head, which, thankfully, caused her to release her arm. As the small girl drove the warrior back once more and drove her sword back at Chao. Raven was dealt a critical blow to his jewels, sending him to his knees. Chao was left with no choice. She didnt care if she hurt the girl bad. She would fight with strength. Not enough to outright kill her, but enough ti disable her, harshly. Launching a flourish charge attack, Chao swung the blade downwards at Laleth, reversing her grip on her other keyblade. Just as her downward swing finished, Chao slashed horizontally with her other Keyblade her Laleth's neck at full strength. It was still the back of the blade, but it was still dangerous

(OOC: Okay ya'll. I've taken Laleth back over for the summer.)

Laleth Aires

Friend of foe, Laleth could no longer tell. Her body moved on it's own without her will, it's small frame being pushed to it's limits. Her will was gone. She desired nothing but a brutal bloody battle and her new adversaries were giving her one hell of a fight. The human side of her, the real Laleth, could do nothing but watch through her own eyes as her body danced around the battlefield swinging her keyblade like a viscous puppet.

Chaos blade struck Laleth's neck with such a frightening force that the girl let out a breath of surprise upon impact. She fell backwards in midair returning a wicked smile. Her demonic blood had made endurance her own specialty. It would take a lot more to kill her. She seized an opportunistic to land but as her legs hit the ground a sickening crack rang out.

A massive squirt of blood sprayed out of her injured leg and the girl fell to the ground. Inside Laleth could feel no pain, her anger blocked it out, but the tears swelling in her eyes was her own body's plea for her to rest. Blood and the destruction of her enemies was her only motivation. "CAIN!" her voice rang out.

The winged fire beast flew down from the burning bunker from the skies. Laleth stretched her hand upwards and grabbed a bit of the fur on it's neck, successfully pulling herself upon it's back as it swooped down. Though she could no longer rely on standing her upper body strength was still intact and she now sat upon the demon's back flying high in the sky. "Let it rain!" she commanded in a terribly rough voice.

The hideous fire beast flew directly above Raven, Eliane and Chao unleashing hundreds of burning streams of fire. Laleth wanted to see them melt, to see them destroyed. There was nothing she could do to stop herself. She could only sit upon her demon bleeding, crying and thirsting for victory in battle.

Staying back with Lina in hand as Luna stood forward to defend her and Lachesis, watching her summon an icy creature Lachesis observed her form before slanting her head.

"Wow... I didn't know she had those kinds of tastes"

Lachesis shook her head and turned to Lina "since we're stuck here, why don't we check on our patient? It's not like we have anything better to do" Lachesis guided Lina to Tsuki and checked over his body, he was mostly motionless by this point, aside from his breathing. "At least he isn't trying anything with me this time..." Lachesis shook her head at recalling the encounter, not to mention what Lina no doubt thought of that situation.

Raven Otsdarva and Elaine Chevalier
Hope Rides Alone

As Laleth summoned the fire beast and saw it take to the sky, Raven and Elaine saw streams of fire coming down on them. While Raven was able to dodge the attack with ease, Elaine was having difficulty trying to dodge while keeping people in one piece. One blast of Fire came down towards her and she was unable to get out of the way. Trying to save her comrade, Elaine took some of the attack as she tried to move the wounded soldier out of the way, suffering some burns along the process. "Elaine, NO!!!!" Raven screamed out as she saw Elaine clutch her wounded side, suffering second and third degree burns down the side of her body. Looking back up at the demon, he held his blade tightly as his red eyes once again turned a shade of yellow. A surge of darkness flowed through him, as he heard a sinister voice whisper in the back of his head. "You must kill her, avenge your friends injuries. Kill her, you know you want to do it..." Raven began to jump high up into the air, using his Keyblade to shoot a powerful cutting wave of Dark Energy at Cain, seeking to simply slice the demon in two.

Lina Davis

"Wow... I didn't know she had those kinds of tastes"

"Y-You seriously believe the Keyblade Master is a...a...into girls?"
She said, wondering what Lachesis meant by this but the woman changed the topic, "Since we're stuck here, why don't we check on our patient? It's not like we have anything better to do. At least he isn't trying anything with me this time..."

"Y-Yeah." Lina said sheepishly as she began to look at whatever wounds Tsuki may have on him
----
Luna Thermidor and Shiva
Ice Queen

Shiva ran forward as Luna began casting Water spells to counter the Heartless on the hangar, Shiva used her martial arts abilities to punch and kick and swipe the Heartless away, while Luna destroyed them with high pressure water, using her Keyblade to take out the enemy straddlers. As soon as the Heartless were doused in water, Luna followed up with Blizzard spells to make them freeze up, destroying them completely and thus clearing out the hangar. "Come on you two, let's head up to the med bay in deck 2." She said, pointing to the elevator

"Okay Lina, guess we move out, lets hope neither of us are to our savior's tastes and get to the med bay" Lachesis then worked with Lina to carry Tsuki in the direction of Med Bay, making sure to stay behind Luna as she got into the elevator, making sure to keep Shiva and Luna in her eyesight in case either tried anything with her, not that she could do much to defend herself with her hands holding up Tsuki. "Lina, I assume you remember what troubles our patient?"

Feeling Shiva's eyes locked on her made her feel uncomfortable as she maid a vain attempt to cover herself with her lab coat, suddenly this situation took a turn for the strange, if her assumption was correct.

Chao

"CAIN!"

Despite the strike to her neck, Laleth remained conscious. Her keyblade swung all over the place and despite its randomness, it possessed rather dangerous power. Collateral damage was racking up and soldiers who had survived the bloody Island campaign was getting decimated from friendly fire. Just like the warrior from the tournament, these instability were becoming worrisome. What distracted Chao from her thoughts was a winged fire beast that flew down from the skies towards the burning bunker. She could only guess this was probably Cain. Before anyone could react, Laleth grabbed onto its neck and hoisted her injured body onto its back before it rose up once more.

"Let it rain!"

It happened too fast. Within a second of saying that, hundreds of streams of fire flew towards the ground. Thankfully, they were originally at the bunker, so many soldiers only had to go further into the maze of corridor to be safe, but for those that couldn't, it was hell. Elaine, while attempting to help wounded soldiers, suffered burns. Chao, on the other hand, took a giant stream head on without the chance retaliate. The stream pushed Chao to the ground and she had expected her life to end at that. Unexpectedly, the fire did not hurt, but she did feel the dreaded sensation of half mind fade. It meant Phoenix was up to something again.

The things i do for you...

Her right arm moved on its own, the cracks along her arm flared up blinding hot and its own fire's erupted from within. With a mighty swing, the stream that was rushing down onto Chao was dispersed from the massive flame explosion from within. The mind fade subsided somewhat afterwards, with only her right arm feeling somewhat disconnected. When she went to look down, her arm was no longer human. It was engulfed in flames. The fire licked the air as it flickered. Her fingers tapered off into slightly claw like appearances and it seemed alien to her.

Don't stay shocked too long. Ready yourself!

The right arm flared once more, but this time, the stream nearest to them diverted from its straight path and instead, appeared to be sucked into Chao's arm as if a black hole, the flames intensifying as more was consumed.

Let's go!

All on its own accord, her right arm pointed downwards and a pair of large flame wings emerged from her biceps while a strong fire blast erupted from her palm, rocketing the princess skyward. The inital thrust allowed the Phoenix to gain enough speed to then use its wings for flight. Chao could see Raven also jumping up high towards the demon. While she was not registering what was going on with her hand, she did know that Phoenix seemed to be actively helping her in this battle. Questions could wait. They had to deal with this Cain first. Still under total control by the Phoenix, her arm took her to the opposite side of Raven and launched its own stream of intense fire, trying to catch the demon in a cross fire between herself and Raven's dark energy attack.

(OOC: Cain's free reign. Like a final boss or he can be used as a plot device or something. Maybe being controlled by someone or gotten loose. You guys can kill it or do whatever to it. Laleth will just be on the sidelines.)

Cain swerved about the air, it's massive figure dodging about in the sky to avoid Raven's dark energy wave. Laleth held on tight, it's dirty brown fur clutched tight in her hands. The dark energy coming from Raven nearly missed her head as Cain swooped to the side. A hard blast came hitting the two from the back and Laleth bolted headfirst off the demon's back. Chao's flame was a nasty surprise for the girl but now she was hurling a long way down. The air whipped around her and with a broken leg pouring out the last pints of blood it had left. In a moment of panic Laleth's mind had returned to her.

Her heart skipped several beats before she remembered her very last ace in the hole. "Abel!" she managed to moan.

Only seconds before she reached the ground a fat caterpillar a bit larger than the girl emerged as a cushion. It had one beady eye that was blinded as soon as the girl landed on it's head. Laleth bounced off and onto the ground meters away. Abel crawled with it's fat body over to her and through a tiny hole below the thing's eerie beady eye it spat an odd goo as blue as it's own hue. Laleth sighed in relief. She was back in her normal state of mind but even when falling to the ground her leg felt as though it were just dead weight.

"Aaaah." Laleth moaned as tears continued to pour from her eyes.

She was in relief as soon as the blue goo trickled over her opened bleeding wound. She felt almost anew, with the exception of the guilt she now felt. How could she possibly make it up to the group? She wouldn't have been surprised if they disowned her. If she were kicked out, she figured, it would probably be for the best. In one sweeping motion with her hand Abel disappeared. However Laleth could hear the angry growls of Cain still flying about the battlefeild skies.

Laleth tried once more but Cain would not go back to the demon realm from whence it had come. "Cain!" Laleth shouted up at it.

The beast did nothing but head back toward Chao and Raven who had attacked it. "Cain!" Laleth shouted back once more but try as she might she had no more control over the beast. "What is this? Another magic?"

The girl was panicked. Under her own control a demon wasn't as powerful as it's potential but under someone else's control or freed it could probably be far more dangerous. Laleth had never experienced such a problem before. "Stop please!" the girl shouted trying to stand.

Her injured leg although felt healed did not allow her to balance her weight. Within second she was back on the ground face first and in shock. The girl was much too exhausted to summon any other demon. Her limit had been reached and there was nothing she could do to fix the mess she had created.

Lina Davis, Luna Thermidor & Shiva
At the Med Facility

"Y-Yes, ma'am."
She said as the elevator shut behind the 3 women (and a spirit and an injured man). As the elevator sped up to the second floor, it showed that there was less of a presence there.

"Luna?" A familiar voice rang out, and Luna turned around to see Pops, with his trusty wrench by his side. "Pops, glad to see you're alright."

"Haha, the same with you, little lady."

A few of the personnel came out upon seeing Luna. "Yeah, when the Heartless infiltrated, Pops took to action and led us in taking back the ship." Another person added to that, "He kept those beasts trapped in the Hangar, considering your arrival, you must've killed them too!"

As the group began to converge and cheer for their saviors, Luna held back and said, "Unfortunately, we have an injured man on board, can you take him to the medbay for some rest?"

"Yes, ma'am." Two of the men saluted and pointed Led the small group to the medical bay.

"You guys are quite the page-turner."
Shiva said nonchalantly, and almost mockingly at both Luna and Lachesis as she dissappeared into light, which flowed back to Luna. Luna pouted at Shiva's remark before helping to direct the two towards the med-bay.

(OOC: Oli, you just handed me an idea to use later down the road! :D)

Raven Otsdarva
Demon Slayer

Raven was clearly not of sound mind, and the darkness in his heart was not helping matters much. Even though Laleth is safe, he continued his attack on the demon. Landing on his feet, Raven saw the Demon came down on Laleth, moving to attack the helpless child. The man growled as began to charge at the demon, running as fast as possible to intercept the creature as quickly as possible. The charge attack brought both of them down and away from the injured Laleth. Raven stood up and raised his keyblade up, which began to transmutate into a medieval-styled axe. Although the voice kept whispering to kill the girl, he was trying his best to fight this influence, focusing his power on the demon Laleth had spawned as he began to hack down at Cain's body, tearing into the demon's thick flesh, all while screaming madly at it. However his power was being used up and he was starting to slow down. When Raven went up for one final attack the dark power he wielded dissipated and the Captain fell on his side, passed out from intense exhaustion and pain, while Cain started to fade away, sinking back into the realm of demons to lick its wounds. The battle was one, but almost the entire unit was too exhausted or too injured to continue. The last thing Raven could see was a bunch of soldiers coming into help him up.

(OOC: Tipsy, it's up to your characters to get three injured people back up for treatment on the Normandy.)

OOC: Hey Oli, gonna G mod ur character onto Chao

Chao and Kaufman

It all ended in an instant. Laleth and Cain were weaving about as expected, dodging Raven's dark energy attacks. Her fire pillar rammed home behind the demon and sent the duo lunging forward. Unfortunately, Laleth shot head first off the demon's back and plummeted ground wards. In panic, Chao dove after the girl and prepared for the worst. Luckily, Laleth managed to summon a monster of some sort and cushioned her fall, though even from above, the girl looked rather battered. Her fear rose again as Cain, who was still active wheeled around and began for herself and Raven. Leaving the demon to Raven, Chao landed heavily on the ground, both fire wings dissipating, but her arm remaining on fire. Pumping her legs as much as she could, Chao ran for the girl. As she closed in, Raven pushed Cain back from the battlefield, which brought Chao a feeling of relief. Now with the main threat gone, Chao pushed aside some wooden rubble before it burst into flames. Her arm licked at the wood and ignited the timber. Panicking, Chao waved her arm about, trying to put the fire out, but with no avail. That complicated matters. Shoving the lit wood aside, Chao went to the small girl's side. She knelt next to the girl and with much effort, said in her most soothing voice to calm her down.

Ahem... there there. Its ok. Everything's back to normal. Now lets get you back onto the Normandy and the doctor will get you back to health.

With as much care as she can muster, Chao carried Laleth with her left arm, sitting her on the forearm and letting her lean on her body, like a child.

Hmm... what to do.... There is still Elaine and Raven...

Like a godsend, Kaufman came jogging out from the tunnel, gun up and sweeping around.

Damn it... what happened? Was this entire thing a trap?

Never mind that for now. Carry Elaine and Raven. We need to get them both to the Normandy Medical bay ASAP. I'll wave down a Pelican!

Without waiting around, Kaufman, with the help of a few soldiers, draped Raven over her left shoulder and used her arms to cradle Elaine in a princess cradle. It was kind of difficult, but She didn't have to walk too far. Chao had commandeered the first pelican that came down as a medivac and hauled the entire group on.

Alright pilot. Go!

All three patients were now laid down on the seats as Chao and Kaufman stood, staring at the battlefield. Kaufman continued to stare before she felt the slight ambient heat.

Ara.... is your arm going to be alright like that dear?

Even now, the fire was still burning strong and its shape remained as it was. Chao would have to interrogate Phoenix later on.

It should be fine. We'll deal with it once we get all three to the med bay.

The drop ship closed in on the ship and sailed into the docking bay. The entire ship was in upheaval but Chao snagged three gurney's and four sets of hands to help them push the group to the med bay. All nine people burst through the door. There were a few people already there, but she had to get the doctor first.

Doctor! Priority case here! Burn wounds, broken bones and maybe internal bleeding and perhaps contusions!

Doctor! Priority case here! Burn wounds, broken bones and maybe internal bleeding and perhaps contusions!

"What the, what happened?" Luna said as she ran into the infirmary, seeing her injured bodies pile up on a bed each. Both Raven and Elaine were unconscious, Elaine riddled with second and partial third-degree burns across her back, and Raven with some cuts and scrapes, but heavy bruising, most likely internal bleeding among broken bones.

As they were carted to be operated on, Lina moved in Luna's direction, "I do not know what has happened, once we assess the injuries we can give you a synopsis, but you could ask that Oriental Lady and soldier what might have happened."

Through all of this Raven was shifting about, part of him was there, and yet part was not.

Raven Otsdarva
Dream Within a Dream

Raven was found sleeping on a multi-colored silhouette as he slowly came to in the midst of this unforeseen realm. "Ugh...where am I?" As his sight slowly came back to focus, he would stand up, groggily but awake, looking around to look down, his shirt was missing, and all that was their was his pants and shoes. His scars on his chest and shoulder was visible, battle scars from his so called, 'famous' battle with the Arbiter, Dagr Scinfaxi. As he looked down he saw his face on the circular silhouette, his Awakening Pillar, a red pillar showing a sleeping Raven, with the Four Wings Keyblade in Hand, on the side, on the other side, showed Unity Islands with the sun setting, and his three friends on the side above the islands.

"So, you've come..."

Raven looked around in this cold, dark area, trying to follow a voice to a person, or a figure, or something. "Who's there?" He continued to look around, as a shadowy figure slowly crept up towards the Keyblade Wielder, as soon as the figure got within striking distance, it activated its energy blade and took a swing at Raven, Raven would quickly turn around and counter with his Keyblade, which he would summon quick enough to deflect the blow. The force of the attack was great and it knocked him quite a bit. The exhausted Raven got into stance as he saw the figure, clad in a black hood activate a second Energy Blade. However they seemed different than the ones he remembered, looking more like blue Sabers. As Raven quickly moved forward, he would see the figure move to thrust outwards. Raven jumped to avoid the attack, only for him to feel a sharp pain run down his spine. Raven would collapse behind the figure, dropping his Keyblade as he screamed out in pain. "Hmph, worthless...but you will have a use yet." The figure said as he slashed out at Raven, firing a Blade beam aiming for his neck. As Raven was unable to move he clenched his eyes, awaiting the inevitable.

Nightmare

Raven's eyes snapped open as he awoke in cold sweat, quickly sitting upwards. A sharp pain in his head surged out, making him grab his head. His hair was unkempt, with strands of hair in his forehead. He could hardly remember what happened, the last thing he remembered was...

"Elaine!" Raven said as he tried to get himself out of bed, looking around to find Elaine, it didn't take long, finding the red haired woman, much of her torso bandaged from the burns. As Raven tried to move closer, he felt a sharp pain in his lower abdomen, looking down to see that he himself was bandaged.

"Hey, back in bed! You're too injured to be moving about."
Lina said as she noticed Raven speaking, to which Raven would respond, "I don't care about my own health, what of Elaine, is she going to be..."

"She will be fine, I've have used as much magic and medicene I could, but she needs bed rest, and so do you."
Lina said sternly, not feeling as nervous as she was on the battlefield.

"Tch, fine."

Laleth Aires

The medical bay's table felt cold on Laleth's skin. That was her reasoning for choosing to sit in a wheelchair instead. The doctor said she should keep off her feet for a while, her leg was terribly bruised and mangled, so messed up hat not even the healing serum of her slug Abel or the magic and medicine of the medical staff could heal it completely. Laleth sat in her wheelchair with a sort of dignity and pride that was clearly false. She sat upright in the chair thinking on what she should say to the others.

The girl wasn't used to being the cause of something so terrible. She'd probably set them back a few notches. She came with Raven with the illusion of helping him. Despite wanting to continue her own personal journey she could not ignore her recent actions. What's more she couldn't ignore the behavior of Abel. Someone had definitely taken over control of him once she broke hold over him, and they did it so discreet she never even noticed. Whoever this was, they were very powerful as not many grown men could stand up to her power. No mere mage could have done it. This was an issue that plagued her the most.

But first things first. Laleth found herself taking the wheels aside her chair within her grip and gave them a push toward where Raven now was in bed. He seemed to be conscious finally. She wheeled past Eliane, looking down and feeling completely guilty. She wouldn't be surprised if he would kick her off the Normandy at the first chance so she figured she'd beat him to the punch.

"U-um. Raven..." Laleth could barely force the words out of her mouth. "I'm sorry."

There was a bit of an awkward silence as she unfocused her eyes from the ground. "I'm sorry and this is my fault."

She paused again not knowing if he was angry with her. Not even knowing whether he wanted to see her. "I know you probably won't be needing my presence here after what I've done. I'll pack my things as soon as possible. I don't want to be a burden. I'm sorry."

She sat there awaiting a response. Her voice was serious and for once in a long time she took full responsibility for the trouble she caused. She would be ready to wheel herself from the room if he confirmed her absence as a good thing.

Chao and Kaufman

The doctor immediately went to work on the three. All medical personnel that were free were diverted to Raven, Eliane and Laleth. Chao took a step forward and was about to volunteer to help when Doc turned around with a serious look on his face. His hand shot up in a stop sign right in front of her face.

Not you, Chao. In fact, vacate the medical center now and stay outside until that arm of yours shuts off. I dont know what you did down there but i got a weird feeling about it. Plus, i cant have open fire in here.

As the doctor said, the arm that had saved her and served her so well was still alight. Since it was her arm, by she should be able to dismiss it by her will. Concentrating as hard as she could back to her original arm, Chao commanded it to return to normal, but as if mocking Chao, the flames along her arm flickered about.

Chao. Now. Please.

Swallowing hard, Chao left her friend's side and stepped out into the ship corridor. For the entirety of the time while the three were being worked on, Chao tried to extinguish the flames. She tried putting it under water, smothering it with a fire blanket, sticking it in an oxygen free chamber, but to no avail. The fire seemed to have its own source, her arm. It wasn't fuel plus igniter, but rather her own arm was both fuel and igniter. Worse of all, Phoenix was not responding to her calls. The spirit was silent completely, even in the depths of her heart where she usually resides. In frustration, she slammed her fist into the table in the cafeteria and let out an angry grunt of frustration. It was empty, luckily, but before she knew it, her fire was charring and melting the table. It was odd. It did not affect her, as she can run her hand through her own hair, but it seems to not apply to everything else.

Well, i was wondering why a certain someone was missing from the Medical Bay, but i can see why now. That was an impressive shout there dear.

The sultry voice took Chao by surprise, mostly due to her mind being completely occupied with thoughts. Kaufman stood at the doorway of the Cafeteria. She had something draped over her arm, but Chao ignored it.

Your arm is still alight from the battle? I figured it was something like that and deary me, it even has claws.

Rather than a normal hand, Chao's fingers were somewhat longer than a human's and had sharp claw like features at the tip (think this, but the entire thing is fire and her hand). Chao subconsciously tried to hide it but it was useless. Kaufman strolled up to the younger girl and dropped what she had in her arm down onto the table and unfurled it. It was a long black, half cape with a lighter black phoenix design.

Here. Funny the coincidence isnt it? Had this in my pack and incidentally, it had a Phoenix pattern on it, just like your spirit. Take it. Use it to cover your right arm until you can fix it. It is fireproof. For people in my profession back on my world, fire is a pretty dangerous matter so we had these in case there was fire. You can borrow it.

It.... it is beautiful. I dont think i can accept this!

Hey hey hey. I didnt say you can have it. You can borrow it. You're a princess right? I do expect you to remember this XD. I'm off in any case. I stink and the shower calls.

With a wave of the hand, Kaufman slipped from the door with only her boots clicking on the floor remaining as she walked off. It was true that her arm didn't seem like it would be fixed any time soon. Sighing in resignation, Chao flipped the half cape over her shoulder and covered her right arm. True to her words, the cape was fire proof and her own fire was kept within the material. It was good enough for now. even though there was a rather conspicuous glow coming from the bottom. After securing the cape onto herself, Chao made her way to the medical bay, just in time to see Laleth and Raven both up. The air was kind of heavy, but Chao went in anyway.

I am glad to see you both up. How are you guys feeling?
