Nintendo Super Smash Brothers Brawl

You may have a hard time finding Ayra on any PS3 game...you know...if that's gonna be your criteria for judging games. No Ayra? No good.

That judgement only applies to Super Smash Bros. games, not the PS3 games. Ayra is a Nintendo character from a Japan-only SNES game back in the mid-1990's. That game is Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu, a game that not many at FFF know. Unless the Super Smash Bros. represents Fire Emblem the way I would like, then it is no good. Lyndis deserves to be promoted from Assist Trophy to playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. I still want Ayra playable in a Super Smash Bros. game one day. She is the most potential character that Fire Emblem can offer for Super Smash Bros., and she can stand out better than any character from a big-name Nintendo franchise.

For the love of god, would you PLEASE quit dry-humping your imported Fire Emblem games and stop babbling on about them like you're Wikipedia and maybe ADD something to this thread instead of whining like a little girl? We know who she is, you've only said it a hundred times, and we STILL don't care.

And you have to be realistic, dude (although I know you have a poor grip on reality). Genealogy of the Holy War is an IMPORT. When Nintendo makes games, they have to consider the European and American audiences as well. It wouldn't be a good move on their part to put a character in Brawl that only Japanese gamers knew about, they would be alienating many of their fans and making gamers scratch their heads saying "who the fuck is this?" They have to keep the majority of gamers in mind, not a select few rabid fanboys who play imports.

And that last statement of yours is completely ridiculous. Do you actually believe that an obscure character from a game hardly anybody has played would stand out more than Samus, Donkey Kong, or Mario? Even Mr. Game and Watch stands out more than a character from a mediocre tactical RPG series.

Tedius... =/ Don't complain about a game that you've never played. Play it first before you start posting negative things about Smash Brothers Brawl.

Anyways my top 5 are:

1.) Princess Peach
2.) Meta Knight
3.) Pikachu
4.) Mario
5.) Kirby

Ugh, I can't stand play R.O.B! >_<

There is a possibility that Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu and its predecessor Fire Emblem: Monshou no Nazo can be released to the U.S. Virtual Console. However, localization is required in order for it to come true. That possibility has been tested with Sin and Punishment which stars Saki Amamiya, who appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an Assist Trophy. Fire Emblem is a great video game series, but sadly underrated.

Until the release of Super Smash Bros. Melee, the Fire Emblem series was unfamiliar outside Japan. Marth and Roy stood out very well not only with the Japanese audience, but also with the American and European audiences just as well. I believe the same could work for Ayra as it would with Marth.

Well isn't that lovely. I suppose that means there might be a CHANCE that your precious Ayra will end up in a Smash Bros. game one day. But until the game comes stateside, it's simply a bad marketing decision for Nintendo to put any characters from that game in Smash Bros. And no, Fire Emblem is not great, it's not even that popular in America.. Tactics Ogre is a much better example of a great tactical RPG.

Oh and since you seemed to completely miss Jessi's post, I'll point it out to you.

From my experience, Fire Emblem is really great. Although it is rather unpopular in America as of now, it has received positive reception by the U.S. fanbase. It has been around since 1990, and it has been in America since late 2003. More specifically, Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu received unanimously positive reviews from the import audience.

Let's stick back to the topic. You can discuss about Fire Emblem in threads that are about Fire Emblem, thanks.

There was such thread. However, that thread is already over two months old, and the last post on that thread was made by me. If I post on that thread, that would be a necropost and a double post.

And? There is nothing I can do about it. Simply just Fire Emblem isn't popular and basically you've been bashing Smash brothers because they didn't feature you favorite character. It's fine to discuss Fire Emblem that are related to Smash Brothers but don't go completely off topic.

We're getting off topic, if you wish to talk to me then PM me.

I'm sure all of you who have the game already knew this, but I felt it had to be done. Final Destination is one hell of an epic win.

And speaking of epic, does anyone know which songs on Brawl Uemastu composed? I can't find the actual credits for it, but Final Destination certainly sounds epic enough to be his work.

That's completely asinine. Nothing else to say about that one...unless you were trying to be funny. You comedian, you!

I believe he composed the game's main theme. I'll check the music on the game to be sure.

La-dee-dah...

That's pretty lame. The game gives you the option to view the credits for each song, but with the exception of a handful, most just say "Compositions copyright Nintendo/Hal Laboratory Inc."

Huh...I dunno.

Uematsu did both Final Destination and the Main Theme for Brawl from what I know, not so sure about the rest of the soundtrack.

Well, I was checking and Marth was only in Japan. =O!!!

Anywho, this is by far the best SSB we've had yet. More boards, more characters, and just more to do.

I think we could've gotten some better characters, but that's cool.

I agree, though I'm pleased with the character selection. Actually, I'd rather see some existing characters get their move-set altered. Many are direct copies from SSBM.

Wolf is the only character that has me wondering...why? He's not too popular, and he adds nothing new to the game. Hell, he doesn't even appear in the Subspace Emissary.

In SSBB? You sure? Because I have SSBB and I can use Marth :neomon:

Now you must not forget, that the Stage Building feature of this new game of the SSB series is quite cool. I've built over 20 stages :)

I want this game. Enough said. :3

I wanna play as Link, or Samus. And I wanna try out the Pokemon and Nintendogs thingie....

Don't know much about it, but it looks fun. I just wish it wasn't for Wii.

Well it would be highly improbable to have it for another console that does not belongs to Nintendo. Samus's Special Attack is awesome, yet it leaves her quite vulnerable since her armor is destroyed due to a system overload, but it adds speed and higher jumping abilities to compensate the strength loss.

The Nintendog trophy just makes a giant puppy appear and cover the screen as far as I know. Annoying....

Ah, I figured. Thank yew :neomon:

Blarg. Wiis are still bastards to find. I tried going to gamestop today at like 2 in the afternoon, they were already sold out of the shipment they got in this morning. Walmart is getting a shipment of 17 in at midnight, but it's all bundles, they don't even sell just the $250 Wii, so the hell with that.

Looks like I'm gonna be waiting a little while longer to play Smash Bros >_<

I was meaning that Marth was only a character showed in Japan until SSBM and SSBB.
