So Deserttiger how do you determine who is a 'key' member of the Seed?

By checking who has a deuty like DC's member of the head stratigists that is how it works.
oh right then, i don't really care as making weapons and armour is one of my favorite parts to the RPG, so i am somewhat of a blacksmith you could say

Then you have the same problem I do with the Cockatrice Feathers and Wolf Claws.
i have no problem spending the time collecting components

I mean those two components take ages to get together in large numbers.
well considering i have to train against cockatrices if i want to get exp (although it is only 1 exp per bird) i have plenty of them now, and as for the wolves i don't mind killing them in large numbers because they are amazingly easy to slaughter. but yer it does take quite some time to get together large amounts of them

And that makes it harder to make some weapons and other things.
Well it doesn't really make them harder to make, it just means that they take longer to make,
I got 5 feathers on my first attempt. 
i got like 6 from one fight, but then i only got like 2 from the next 3 fights, it is completely random and very annoying
I've got none lately... 
see what i mean, it's random, but its even more annoying to get large quantities of wolf fangs
I need wolf fangs.

I need both since I need to perfect something that I am making also I havent quite got the shields right yet either.
the best way to make shields is to use all Feathers
I just go for all out offensive a lot.

same here, i use dual wieldable weapons (I.E my claws atm) and allow the defensie sat of my weapons and armour to take the damage
Yeah, I have dual firearms and light armour with high stats, that way I'm defended while having opportunities to dodge.
