Training Grounds

Seeing that the battle between Zeria and Hudson finishedd, Arthvader headed towards Shenorai, in hopes of having another fight.

Arthvader "Hey, Shen. Since this battle is over, you think we might be able of having our battle? I'll even let you choose our battlefield."

"It was an honor to fight you too."

He suddenly felt drained, and at the same time relieved. The adrenaline was going to be wearing off shortly, and he couldn't help but feel guilty for hurting her. He had decided to stay with her for a little while, at the least to keep her company. His wounds, as serious as they might become in a little while could wait. Hudson couldn't help but feel a certain amount of kinship between he and her. Nothing wa really gained, and nothing was really lost. For that he was glad.

Her wounds would recover shortly after the healers did their job.

"I'm... i'm not really sure what you think of me but.. I hope that you could be a person that I can call a friend."

Because he sure as hell didn't want somebody like her as an enemy.

Zeria laughed and smiled.

"No worries, I'll be as good as new in no time. Then hopefully I can find a decent battle where I hopefully won't get my sword handed to me"

As soon as the healers were finished, she got up and stretched. She was almost curious how Julius' battle was going. Zeria finished up and headed outside, with nothing more than a smile and a wave to Hudson before she went out. She took in a breath of fresh air as her body calmed down from the fight. She hoped that she hadn't hurt Hudson too badly either. Now, to find her next opponent...

"Yes indeed it ends now!"

Julius sidestepped as the thunder bolts passed next to him. The knight soon rose his left hand and almost instantly, the swords aligned to the elemental powers of light/thunder and earth hurled towards the thunder bolts. Both attacks got in contact in an explosive reaction tearing apart anything between them. Surprisingly, after the flames faded away, the swords were seen hovering in mid air and floating towards Julius once again.

-"I bet you are curious to know what happened. Simple, my Earth Blade nullified the effects of your attacks while my Thunder Blade absorbed them."-

Julius jumped and remained hovering in mid air as his swords spun around him. He fixed his eyes on a newly transformed Lone Wolf. Julius sighed, seeing that this battle was taking longer than expected so he decided that, he should take a defensive position in order to know more about Lone Wolf's elemental alignments.

-"I am growing bored of this endless battle, you know? How about showing me more of that miraculous power of yours..."-

"Ya know so am I...at least it's still interesting...so now. It does end. Watch out i may faint after this next move. It;s my final move that I taught myself...spirit destruction. A move that fuses holy and thunder. Elements cant fuse, so you can imagine the power created...BEHOLD"

Sparks from the fire rose up to the sky [see what i did there?] where a spiral hole had formed showing a gleaming white and blue sky. Directly under it stood a certain Lone Wolf shining yellow and a newly regained white. He had unwittingly transformed himself. He had NEVER done THAT in his training before. He would thank julius after this battle for showing him his new move. But now, it WAS time this ended. He was growning weary of this battle and wanted new blood. He wasn't afraid of this move anymore. he was confident his transformation would withstand it....Spirit Destruction

From the spiral hole in the sky and tornado of thunder and holy spewed forth. Beam of holy once again shot down from the sky and circled around Lone Wolf. From the eye of the elemntal tornado a dome of electricity shot out and formed around Lone Wolf. The air itself was thick in thunder. Small beams of holy shot to and forth. here and there they went. not far away was Julius Argexis...Lone Wolf locked his sight onto him and raised his hands towards him.

Lone Wolf shot holy beams and numerous small bolts of thunder balls.

"That was the warm up...now for the actually attack that you see before you"

The massive beams of holy that revolved around Lone Wolf upturned and fired directly at Julius. The needles of other holy also fired at Julius. Lone Wolf dashed at Julius with his massive sanctus blade and swiped in quick succesion using his speed and agility to dash to and forth staying well away from his attack range, but well within his own attack range. All the while the tornado was healing Lone Wolf whilst doing damage to Julius if it was actually hitting. In a final blast, all of Lone Wolf's elemental energy shot forth out of him and caused a complete cataclysm of deadly, high voltage thunder and bright, pure holy. This was basically a massive explosion of the two elements.

"Dodge that..." Lone Wolf whispered.

After saying this Lone Wolf fell back...oblivious to pain. The attack only healed him biologically, but not pysically or magically

"I've overdone it...never again. Thank-you...Julius..." Lone Wolf managed to whisper to himself...

Lone Wolf had finally succumbed to his attack. It had mentally ripped him apart. He now had to recover from this ONE move. He was now in a coma. As for Julius...he hoped he would be alright...

I think that I might as well join here. I need a good battle, and nobody seems to wanna fight :P

I'll be using Jake, for now. But Hera might make a surprise appearance.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jake stood atop a distant hill, and watched the battles waged below. His black hair blowing in the wind, glowing in the sunlight with its golden tint, Jake jumped down and leaned against the tent, seeing a nice big red cross on it. Assuming it was the medical tent, Jake went moved ahead, near the door, and waited for those coming out.

"I might be able to get some good practice here," said Jake quietly. "The powers here are pretty big, and have some fighting potential." Jake's mind suddenly sparked, and he jumped off to what seemed to be an arena.

There he saw the reason the sky had cleared so suddenly. Now falling from what seemed to be fatigue, a young man had just fired a very powerful attack at another man. Seeing the attack, Jake yelled, "Watch out!" In a flash, he transformed into a Dragon, and shot down there. He drew his blade, the Soul Shredder, and slammed it to the ground. Calling upon his elemental powers, he used the impact to raise a wall of stone in front of them, to block the attack.

It did little, though, as several beams went through (though their power seemed diminished from blasting through the wall) and hit Jake on the upper torso. Little holes appeared in his scales, and some blood dripped out of them. "Well," Jake said. "That hurt."

He stood up straight, and went to the one who was now laying on the dirt. He looked at the man, amazed that he could unleash an attack like that.

"Where am I?"

After countless hours of relentless pursuit on each other, Julius and Lone Wolf were completely exhausted. Even though their bodies were marked by battle, their pride was left untouched, for they have battled like Achilles of Greece, and Hector the hero of Troy. The outcome of the duel between Julius and Lone Wolf was a draw and not a tragedy.

"You did well. Time for a bath, some food, maybe a beer and then to sleep. God, sure I am tired. It was an honor to fight you Lone Wolf. Maybe next time, we will fight together as friends."

A day later LW woke up in a soft, warm bed, out of his coma. He had heard what Julius had said to him. he was honoured.

Lone Wolf got up and went out of his room in the massive tent to find Julius sitting in a chair sipping a drink.

"Yes, it was an honour to fight you. I'de very much like to fight alongside you. I'll bear in mind what you said during our battle...as for now though. It;s time i had something to eat. I'm hungry"

After having something to eat, LW walked outside the tent and pulled up a chair in front of the wide battlefield, happily content watching newbies feebly battle with swords

"I'll need to remember to use my psychic abilities next time. I hardly use them, but they would help greatly" LW quietly said to himself

Julius stood up and followed Lone Wolf outside the tent. There he found Wolf sitting on a small wooden chair, he was staring to the fights between new trainees. Julius sighed, seeming that he was newly bored for not being able to do anything important. These days of peace were in fact good for everyone, but at the same time were a pain for most warriors who awaited for some kind of war to arrive all the sudden. Julius brought his right hand and rose his left eyebrow, his eyes were fixed on the battles before him.

"So Mr.Wolf, what do you think of them? I have seen much talent these days, men and women arrived from different parts of the world searching for this area, the Training Grounds of Rothzelia. Though I am not sure that, if war were upon us, if these men and women would aid the empire against invading armies. I've heard of rebel groups forming to the north of Rothzelia, to the south we have the Granadian Kingdom and to the west we have Arnazil. My cousin Aiden Silverlake is the son of the Duke of Arnazil. We have my home, the Aldabran Region to the east, were the city of Altzoure awaits for my return. The Altzoure Castle, better known as Castle Silverwing, was reconstructed after the war against my brother Lucius, and the demon Armageddon. Much time has passed since then, it seems that the Age of Swords is coming to an end, with it arriving the Age of Wisdom. Who knows, maybe this era of peace is a prelude for another tragedy to come."

Zeria's eyes lit up and her jaw dropped.

"Sir Julius! Amazing! I never thought I'd see you here!"

She strode over to him and smiled. She just couldn't believe it. What were the chances of Julius being in the same training camp as her?!

"Have you had a good time? Any good fights? Please tell me you aren't hurt!"

Vex sighed impaiently, here he was standing around doing nothing. He watched two battles unfold and was very impressed with all of them. "Well it seems I may have some fun fighting here if I ever get the chance to." Finally getting irratated with not finding anyone to fight he walks up into one of the arenas and just proceedes to sit down. He unsheathes his sword and lays it across his lap and closes his eyes and procedes to think to himself. "Maybe this is the most immature way to get a fight here, but it might just work. Damn I hate it when i'm this restless."

OOC: Oh yeah, people, let's just totally ignore Jake, who just stopped the brunt of the attack from what he thought would kill Julius :P

IC: Jake walked up to the two that had been fighting just a while ago, and stood near them. They'd totally ignored him, even the one whose life he'd saved. Well, thought Jake. That's just gratitude for you.

Shaking the shallow thoughts from his head, Jake spoke aloud, before the other person, the one whose attack he had stopped, could intervene.

"Well, before we get into that, I have a major question: Where are we?" He sighed, looking up. "I've been told that a certain Sukani had his eye on this part of the galaxy, so I came to this planet to scout it out. Where am I? And why are all these people fighting...are those wooden swords?" he asked, looking in absolute stupefication at the wooden swords that some of the combatants were using. "All right, this is getting way too confusing."

"Number one," he said, looking at the one whose attack he had stopped (and he had scars on his scales to prove it), "Why did you try to kill him. Number two, where am I?"

(Soooowwwieeee :P)

Julius remained standing before the battlefield, his eyes fixed on the new warriors practicing their own skills in battle. He wondered, if they would be ready for a war, if they would have what it takes to shed tears of blood.

Shenorai held her hand up to Arthvader, her palm facing him as a signal to stop talking. After fishing out the clipboard and setting it somewhere away from the water barrel to dry, the bounty hunter walked over towards the strange thing before them.

She wasn't even sure what to think of the creature. Though after its little show of power, it was obvious that it was not to be underestimated. However, who would be strong enough (or stupid enough) to challenge it?

"He wasn't trying to kill anyone," the young woman explained. "These are the training grounds. We're here to practice our skills in battle, not to kill each other off."

Though why anyone would be interested in this place would be beyond Shen. That is, anyone who isn't a warrior, at least.

"...although, if you don't end up killing anyone and one of us feels up for it, feel free to challenge whoever you want. Can't guarantee that they'll accept it, though."

Hudson had had a good battle. For that, he was thankful. For that, he was satisfied. His eyes closed against his will as body became heavier and heavier. He had let the blood loss continue for far too long. Longer than he should've let it continue.

The expected yet unexpected sleepiness that crept up inside him was coming.

His blade sheathed, the cries of a new warrior; one that he hadn't heard until just now were becoming dull against his ear. All sound was becoming dull, and it seemed that this new warrior was interfering with a fight. No matter, it just meant that he was hungry for battle.

And that hunger would be sated.

Zeria noticed that Hudson had changed all of a sudden.

"What is wrong? You seem exhausted. You should rest. Your body isn't exactly in the best condition right now. Please, go lie down some more and let the healers help you"

She too was irritated by the battle interferance, but let it go. It hadn't been her fight, so she had no right to involve herself in the matter. She walked over to Shenorai.

"Is there anyone else around here who needs a battle, Sister Shen? I'm anxious to improve my skills some more"

Julius grew tired of waiting, so he decided to take the chance to teach some of them the Arts of Ancient Lore and Summoning Magic. Julius clapped his hands and commanded everyone to halt their practices. He then sighed, walked toward the very center of the battlefield and proceeded to communicate his announcement.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I've seen and studied each and every one of you and with all honesty I say that we have much work to do. That doesn't mean you aren't skilled, you are talented, but there are some things that need to be learned. For starters, have any of you thought about applying defensive spells for offense? Or perhaps, the use of summoning spells? I've seen Arthvader, and he is greatly skilled. Now, for all of those interested, I shall offer classes on Ancient Lore and Magic. We will train at noon, even if I have to teach with only one student. That is all, dismissed. By the way Hera Ledro, there are some matters that I must discuss with you, could you please meet me after the class is over?"

Zeria quickly averted her attention to Julius and listened. Maybe learning some Ancient Lore and Magic would prove beneficial to her...she headed over to Julius and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Sir, I would gladly learn whatever you can teach me"

She bowed formally and smiled.

"I will be honored to call you my teacher"

Julius smiled and bowed to Zeria. It was good to have Zeria once again as his student, and this might give him a chance to teach her more about spells. -"It is an honor to me, and I would much enjoy teaching you. You were and will always be one of my best students. Anyone else would like to join?"- Julius remained, with crossed arms, his eyes fixed on the battlefield waiting for more fighters to come.

Though he was not one to ask for help FFGuy proceeded slowly to Julius "could you teach me any defensive spells and summoning?"

"Of course FFGuy, come."-Julius then searched all around him to see if anyone else was coming.-"Very well, if anyone else wants to come, we will be at the Black Hill. The Black Hill is located to the north of the Training Area."-Julius then turned to Zeria and FFGuy.-"Alright, let's go..."-Julius then turned around and headed towards the Black Hill, a place he often used as his personal training ground.
