Final Fantasy XII

Just got to Raithwall's Tomb. Not really feeling like going further right now, but things have been OK so far. That goddamn bird is an incredible asshole though :monster:

Mortal Kombat 9

I just started this yesterday. I haven't gotten too far into the storyline...Johnny Cage is as irritating as ever though...leave Sonya alone you spineless creep :rage:

The button-mashing is just as good as the original games...and the characters...well they aren't as pretty as our Final Fantasy characters but they are full of attitude and rage-which is a given for Mortal Kombat I guess. I haven't gotten far in the challenge tower so I'll probably go back to that at some point today so I can get the controls down a little better. ...and who knows about the online since the psn is still down. Tag team would've been so fun to try...and now I have to wait :sad3:

All-in-all...I like it :awesome:

I am currently playing Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and switching between that and FFXIII. I still have yet to beat FXIII! It's just gotten to the point where I am around/near the end and I don't want to complete it.

Heavy Rain

Beat the game first time around without anyone dying. Now I'm going to be all evil and let a couple of the characters die. One of the best games I've played on the PS3, and I love getting those Trophies

Dragon Age II is what I am currently playing. I am going to continue from where I left on in a little bit. Varic is pretty broken for a character. I mean I just sweep everything with him but I know the game will get harder at some parts. Playing as a mage and she is pretty badass :ryan:

Dot Hack Infection(PS2)

I remember playing this game a long time ago and being totally hooked. I'm playing it now and it has the same effect. I'm not even sure if these games are even good or not. I just go to endless battlefields grinding and then trading for items, constantly. I guess you can call this game my guilty pleasure. But it is addicting.

I'm not really into games at the moment...but I started playing Hexyz Force again last night. Going through Levant's side of things this time around...a nice, simple and very pretty handheld game is just what I need right now.

Also started playing Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland again. I'm reminded of just how much I love this game; the graphics are gorgeous, the soundtrack is delightfully folksy, and the voice acting is incredible. I might just play it through casually...leave the character-specific endings for somewhen else. I need to plan out how I'm going to get those :hmmm:

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

I am quite enjoying it, it is quite fun. Not a whole lot in terms of story so far. And the most interesting thing so far happened off screen and you don't even hear about it:rage:
Hopefully they'll be some missions to do with Axel killing all the members of Organisation 13, but I'm not sure that it will be explained. The camera angles are pretty shit too. They were a bit of a pain in KH, in KH2 they were fine, so I don't know how they've managed to make them so shithouse.

I am kind of switching between two games atm.

I started off Playing Rogue Galaxy on PS2, it was pretty fun, the combat is kind of hard to get used to and the camera angles in battles is really, really shit. But everything else about it is really good. The characters are fun and they have really good Voice Actors, the scenery is nice although I do find it begins to look a little bland after a while beacuse it kind of looks like the same thing copied over and over with a bit of rearangement. I'm not too far in yet so I don't know much about the story, but i am enjoying it so far.

The second game I am playing is Tales of Vesperia (Xbox360) I am really, really enjoying this game (If you can't tell by my new ToV Signature) it has really amazing characters and the VA's are great! (Even if Yuri is voice acted by The same guy who did Snow in FF13 :hmph:)
I've only played 9hours but I am enjoying every bit of it, even if I haven't foundthe main story line yet!

dot hack Mutation(PS2)

Part two of the 4 game series. This one really uped to the difficulty compared to the last one. It is as addicting though. Weird how these games are mostly tedious but I can't get enough of'em. I planning on doing another review as soon as I complete the game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

I haven't gotten into the actual "game" yet per say...I've been doing the online multiplayer with some of the guys on the forum here...and oh my is it addictive :inlove: It took me a few days to get used to the controls and whatnot but I'm actually getting better as time goes on. Every now and then you run into kids who scream into their mics, ghetto fabulousness with peopple bumpin' their music, and people who say I have a Midwest accent...but other than that I love it. So glad I broke down and got it :gonk:

Still going at a snail's pace in Star Ocean The Last Hope International mainly because I've rarely had time to play anything nowadays. I'm done with the side-missions and shop orders on Aeos and Lemuris (well, almost but I'm sick of them so I may as well move on) and just about to head to En II now. No real point rushing this I suppose as I'm still eager to get the Private Actions right somehow and get a substantial list of recipes and raw materials for the next part of the game.

I was hoping that characters not in the active party would also accummulate EXP from battles as well, but ever since I threw Faize out for Bacchus, the poor green haired-elfen guy hasn't received any, which was a bit of a downer because that could mean more effort in grinding him up to catch up with Edge and co. later. So far, the story is a bit meh to be honest. There are some good concepts that I can't wait to see explored further but so far I'm still waiting for this bigger threat that isn't a series of stones or pissed-off lizardmen.

I am playing Dragblade and Final Fantasy III

Mod Edit: Hey there. Since this is a post-count section could you please expand your post? Say something about why you decided to play these games, or how you are enjoying them. Thanks.

I am playing Halo Reach and a little Dragon Age II on the side. I am going to become Eclipse rank in maybe four days on Reach. At first I never wanted to go past Mythic at all. I still find the game quite entertaining and I enjoy the system unlike Halo 3 which keeps me playing. For Dragon Age II I am more or less doing quests and will move on with the story soon enough. Also have played Pokemon White recently.. although I am still trying to catch a good Zekrom. I really like.. need to move on in Pokemon White. :lew:. Oh yeah and Black ops with some FFF friends only.

Drakengard, on the PS2. I'm in the mood for something strange, and nothing is more messed up than Drakengard. Incest, paedophilia, and evil giant babies. Oh, and a fucking fantastic (yet extremely bizarre) soundtrack. Just doing a mission every now and then as it suits me. Blasting stuff on Angelus is fun. Makes me think, when the hell are they going to release another Panzer Dragoon game...

Also playing Atelier Rorona on PS3 for half an hour or so in between revision/Buffy episodes. Just finished the second assignment, on to the third...not sure what I'm doing, to be honest. Will probably go for the true ending, and build up my money, so in my next playthrough I can go for specific character endings, and buy out the shop, etc etc...

L.A. Noire. Great game. Great departure. The facial animations that were so heavily touted in the buildup prior to its release are so far very uncanny. It's definitely the gold standard in the industry now. The gameplay is alright, I wasn't expecting too much action anyway and I rather enjoy the somewhat slower pace and the story-driven approach that Rockstar took with this. It's a great departure from most of the other popular games out there. I give up a two-thumbs up and an A+. This is definitely going in the collection.

FFVIII, Guild Wars, Half-Life 2 but mostly L.A. Noire.

For all these reasons. D: Totally agree, it's an awesome game.

I went back to Eternal Sonata for some reason. I cant believe I actually moved on to chapter IV. I have not played in so long but I still knew the controls and all. Still remember the characters and scenes etc. I am probably going to be playing this a bit now. It was hard earlier to pick out an RPG that was not passed. I picked Eternal Sonata and I am really glad I went back to it. :olivia:

inFamous. Meh. It's not terrible but it's not great either. I took the evil route for my first playthrough. :wacky: I'm not too far into it but so far I like how you can jump off buildings without killing yourself and how you do missions instead of a continuous story.

I just started Dragon Quest VIII. I've played about 3 hours and I like it so far. The music is awesome and it looks great. The coolest thing about it is that it uses the old school sound effects from the earlier games. It's a nice combo of the new and the old. I'm looking forward to playing more of it.
