[V2] Last Movie You've Seen

Secretariate

8/10

Yeah it wasn't completely historically accurate, but I enjoyed the movie. I've only ever heard of Secretariate and liked seeing a movie about his. I didn't mind that there were liberties taken with the story. Also I love horses!

The Green Hornet.

All I can say is: Seth Rogan, please, please, please for the love of all that is holy never direct another movie again!!!
I saw so much potential and some of it was good (like his Asian sidekick) but Seth's Caracter (the gren hornet) was the most useless character in any movie i have ever seen. Instead of growing to love him I grew to loath him!!!

I think if you're going to create a movie named after the lead character, the lead should be somewhat lovable or at least entertaining. Not pathetic and annoying.

anyway, i couldn't finish watching this movie, it was too bad.

I'll rate it 4/10 (Mostly for teh sidekick.)

Let Me in

I went in to this movie not expecting much, its a love story between two kids, one, a vampire and one just a human, I kind of rolled my eyes thinking it'd be like twilight but it wasn't, it was actually really good and I was surprised!
The kid actors were really good and I felt so sorry for the boy!! The love between them was really heartwarming (although a bit weird at times) and there was a small twist which I thought was quite good!

I'll vote this 8/10

Movie/Film: The Good. The Evil. The Weird.
Comments: It was a funny and great movie. its an asian movie and with a lot of action and funny moments. My fav character is the weird cause he's most of the time dumb but also cool at some moments xD

Score i give : 9/10

Labor Pains
Not sure the rating
Score: ...depends.

I only watched this because Lindsay Lohan was in it. The movie itself was kind of lame, but Lindsay made it fun and decent. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anybody, but if someone asked if it's worth watching, I'd answer yes. It is worth watching. Lindsay's pretty charming and entertaining. She turned a what could have been boring movie into a decent one.

It was aight.

The Dilemma

I'll be honest, I had a feeling that this was going to be shit when I went to see it. But it was actually better than I originally thought. I'm not a fan of Vince Vaughn, but he managed to pull off this film and made it interesting. There were some funny scenes, especially the fight scene in the house in the middle of the night in particular. It was really good and strangely managed to give out a moral message to the audience.

8/10

Movie: Kill Speed

Rating: M

Comments: Wasn't too keen on it when Steve picked it out but it was actually quite good.

A lot of action and Andrew Keegan is still so hot. XD

Can't believe he was only 20 in 10 things I hate about you.

Anyway nice idea for a movie. Entertaining. =)

Score: 10/10

Charlie St. Cloud

I managed to find this in twelve parts on YouTube and I'd been wanting to see it when it was released, but couldn't find anyone to come with me. Anyway, I really enjoyed this and it brought a few tears to my eye. The story was quite beautiful and Zac Efron especially played his role well. It really struck a chord with me when
Sam died and he was grieving.
His romance with Tess was pretty sweet, too.

I'd give this full marks, but two things really spoiled it for me. The pace of the story was a bit too fast for me. I would've liked it if it slowed down and allowed the audience to really appreciate the scenes more if they weren't so rushed. It's also the romance between Charlie and Tess. It was sweet as I said before, but it was so short.

But regardless, I still loved watching this. It tugged at my heartstrings so much. :sad3:

9/10

Movie: Land of The Lost

Rating: M

Comments: Nyeh it was okay. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Will Farrel isn't as funny anymore unfortunately.

His movies seem to be getting more and more crap as time goes on.

The only person I liked was that guy from Hot Rod. The dude that came along with them by mistake when they got sent to The Land of The Lost.

Score: 10/10

The last movie I saw was The Tooth fairy. Hahah it was a pretty good movie xD. Started off pretty boring but after that it starts to rise. The movie is pretty funny to be honest. A hockey player becoming a Tooth fairy every night. The British guy Tracy is funny as well. The gadgets or "sprays" the main character uses makes the movie hilarious as well. At the end it starts becoming a little what the hell like though xD. Great movie overall. 7/10. British accents make the movie funny. The goddess fairy and the instructor are both British xD.

Silent Hill

This is like my 5th or something time seeing this but I love it. I've never played any of the video games...but the movie is awesome. The story is about an adopted daughter of a couple who has recurrent nightmares/sleepwalking episodes because she is imagining that she is in a town called Silent Hill. Anyways, I don't want to ruin anything for anyone, but if you are into horror flicks with the gore factor than you will love this. The film is so much more creatively done than some of the movies that are out there today and thats probably part of the reason I like it so much. Pyramid head was really cool ^_^

I Am Number Four

This film lived up to my expectations and I'm pleased it delivered in the end. There was never a dull moment, although more of the exciting action didn't happen until the second half. Loved the pairing of John and Sarah, though it was quite tense at times. It's a shame that Six isn't used much here since she had so much potential.
It was so sad when Henri died! A lot of people weren't expecting that!
It definitely leaves it open for a sequel and I'd love to see it.

Vampires can do one, aliens are where it's at now. :mokken:

10/10

Paranormal Activity

Not the biggest fan of this film, I mean I expected it to much creepier but for what its worth there are a few scares and it does leave you on edge for a few hours afterward. Based on this film I'll be looking forward to watching the second, I just hope that one is more consistent with the scares.

7/10

No Strings Attached

Rated:R. Very R.

I liked this movie. It was really funny, and I enjoyed the entire thing. The gradual growth of a relationship (and feelings) was really well done. Wasn't the best movie I've seen, but it was so much fun, I didn't really care.

7/10

Movie: Max Payne

Rating: M

Comments: Nyeh. It wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be.

The only thing I liked about it was that it had That 70's show chick in it.

She did an awesome job in that role considering she's usually in comedy.

Other than that it was a bit nyeh in my opinion.

Score: 6/10

Paul

Nothing, not even the average reviews, could stop me from watching this. This is pure genius and the amount of cultural references in it are large. Loved this because Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were brilliant. Even Seth Rogan, who voiced Paul, stole the spotlight many times. There was never a dull moment. I couldn't recommend seeing this enough!

10/10

the social network
a very well told story, it's easy to see why it's so highly tipped for an oscar. i got the feeling that the film tried to villainise sean parker a little more than actually happened, and it was perhaps a bit of a way for mark zuckerberg to present his side of the story in a better light. i'd like to know how much of an input eduardo saverin had...

I just watched Easy A not to long ago, It's something that I think everyone should watch at least once.

I loved this movie. It was towards older teens/adults (16-23) and it was something worth watching over and over again. Hilarious, sassy, and very original if you ask me. I give it a 9/10 only because I wish there was more movie and that I didn't see enough of some characters like Amanda Bynes and Aly Michalka. Emma Stone is a great actress. GO SEE IT.

How to train your dragon

This was such a sweet movie...I really couldn't believe it. I got it on netflix and later ended up buying it this last weekend. The movie is obviously about "How to train your dragon"...but what I really like is the messages that it gives, primarily one being that you can't judge a book by its cover (like all dragons are mean or the lead character is a skinny little outcast)...and so it causes you to look deeper into things. Very few kids movies nowadays have the ability to instill messages to kids...most of them are just mindless rabble to keep the kids occupied for 2 hours in the theatres, but this is very different. The graphics were pretty fab as well...and toothless is adorable <3 I totally recommend this.

Prince of Persia. The live action one of the first Prince of Persia video game I think? Sands of time? Yeah I think that was it. It was a pretty good movie but nothing too special. More fighting and less story. The Sands of Time seemed so dangerous but it could be stopped so not so much. The action scenes were well done though but as in most movies fake as hell.. Most of it is in the desert of course.. and those parts are just boring. So 7 out of 10 is what I give this movie. Not too shabby for a video game live action..
