Movie: Resident Evil

I love this movie! I love all the Resident Evil movies! They always get better and better!

Watching it tonight, I realised just how much I didn't understand from previous times.

It's like it all suddenly made sense. I think I was a little lost somehow before. >.<

But yeah awesome movie and I love Milla Jovovich!!!

Movie:
Becoming Jane

Comments:
A nice adaptation of the book. It's well written, well acted, and well composed. Anne Hathaway and James MacAvoy could have had better chemistry, but it was reasonable and, in a way, their slight distance prevented their relationship from ever feeling over-the-top-romantic.

As a film in and of itself, it's a little anticlimatic, but realistic, and that's what makes it beautiful.

Taken

I really don't give a hoot how many times I've seen this movie, it's just so awesome it will never get boring for me. Liam Nesson is such a badass in this movie and just a great action film to make you feel good about the day.

100/10 :jay:

Movie: Mulan (Disney Version)

I love this movie!

I remember obsessively watching it as a child over and over and over again.

I never got sick of it. >.< I would literally watch it and then play it again. XD

I like that it's based on a true story and I love how much she cared for her father. Not many people would be willing to go to war in place of someone else even if it was to help a family member.

Awesome movie. <3

10/10

Movie: Real Steel

I watched it on cinema and there was no off-moment. There's something there for everyone. Great effects, great plot, great casting. I'm really happy with the fact that it didn't turn out to be some cliched reconciliation theme. I don't want to say more than that or I might ruin it. :mokken:

Everyone needs to watch this movie. It's just that good. :gonk:

Movie: The Scorpion King

OHMYGOD I am so in Love with The Rock right now. XD

He should have had more scenes without his shirt though. <3 So smexy.

Loved the movie, though I think it's sad that he never stayed with the girl from the prequel. She was cute. <3

Can't really do much when the prequel is made after the original movie though. =/

Now I am going to go and google pictures of The Rock. :gonk:

Score: 10/10

Inuyasha: Swords of an Honorable Ruler

the third movie for Inuyasha, and aside from the second, this one is my favorite. Even though it's not really canon, but I just love it for the fact that it gives some insight about Inuyasha and Sesshormaru's father. I love So'unga just because that is one badass sword. :gasp:

9/10

Movie: Parent Trap

Rating: PG

Comments:
I was bored and hadn't seen this in ages so I decided to put it on.

I can't believe how bad Lindsay Lohan is now compared to her younger acting years.

She could have been great but now she's just a loser.

Anyway it was an enjoyable movie. Very witty and made me cry twice. >.< I'm so pathetically emotional lately.

Score: 10/10

Slither

I watched the last half of this last night because when I had gotten home from school it was already half over :( ...I hope they play it again on AMC so I can watch it from the beginning.

Anyways. This is one of those horror movies with a bit of a comedic twist...so I guess not everyone is going to like this. It was horror...with some overly gorey funny twists :lew: ...I'm not going to lie though, the end was pretty gross and parts of it made my stomach churn...so I guess the effects were at least done really well, which is good because the acting wasn't that great. I don't really expect much with these movies though.

Still, this was pretty fun to watch...even if I didn't get to watch quite all of it. Basically its a bit of an "Alien" type of movie where parasites infect people but with a funny twist. If you have a sense of humor watch it. If you don't steer clear because you probably won't care for it too much, as its not a serious horror movie.

7/10 :hmmm:

Movie: Resident Evil Apocalypse

Comments:
My favourite of the series!

I love how Alice starts to evolve and gain her wicked powers in this one. XD

I love how they make her look evil at the end. >.<

It is also rather sad though with Matt/Nemesis. :sad3: I feel so bad for the both of them having to go through what they did.

Still, it wouldn't have made an awesome movie if it hadn't of happened though.

Score: 10/10

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

With all this Arkham City hype going around (hype I doubt is unfounded, for once) I had the overwhelming desire to watch this again. As people might consider the Arkham duo the pinnacle of Batman games, this is definetely the pinnacle of Batman movies. The live action movies can sod off - Begins was mediocre at best, and I don't like Heath Ledger's Joker in the least in The Dark Knight, and whilst the older ones have some charm to them, they're not as well-written as this one is. Plus...Mark Hamill's Joker is in it, and he's extremely prominent. Can't go wrong with that :yay:

This gets a 9/10 from me, for being one of my favourite animated movies that hasn't originated from Japan.

Movie: Resident Evil Extinction

On a roll with these movies lately!

We were gonna watch Afterlife right after watching this one, but it was too late. :sad3:

Anyway, the movie was good though it felt like a bit of a filler movie.

Awesome action sequences and I especially love the bit where Alice is shutdown but then comes back online and kicks ass. XD

Score: 10/10

The Three Musketeers

On the whole it was nothing amazing. There are much worse movies out there though. I thought the visuals and scenery were really good. The acting was pretty bad in some parts. Overall I found it enjoyable, it wasn't worth the money though.

Movie: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Oh how I love this movie!

I can never get sick of it. XD Russell Brand, Jonah Hill, Jason Segel, Bill Hader and Paul Rudd together! Ah it was just awesome. XD

Basically about a guy who gets dumped by his girlfriend and he goes on a holiday to the same resort she's staying at and he runs into her and her new man etc etc.

Funny hotel staff and what not as well. There is always something to keep this movie entertaining from start to finish!

Score: 10/10

Title: Bridesmaid

I found it hilarious. The part where where they are at the dress store is just so funny, and it has so many excellent bits that I can forgive the slightly cliche plot and the annoyingness of the main character.

Definitely worth a watch if you haven't, I'm planning to buy it more than likely.

8/10

Title: Paranormal Activity 3

So I just went to see this movie like last saturday, and aside from the tight background check to go see it as in checking my ID to ge the ticket, checking my Id for the guy to take it, and waiting for the doors to open they check it again. eh I liked the second better, but I really did like that little girl *the youngest one* maybe its her voice and she's so cute :) most of the action happens towards the end though so yeah, but it did have alot of moments that me jump and for that I give it

7/10 :selphie:

Pet Sematary

This is part of the standard line up for Frightfest on AMC so I watched most of it this morning. I've seen it before, but I think this is one of my favorite Stephen King books that they've brought to film. The effects are a little on the cheesy side at times :wacky: but I really like the thought that went into this movie. Some parts kind of really creep you out...like the ending. That kid really was so cute...but ebil :sad3: So if you really like a horror story with a more classic sort of feel and you don't mind cheesy gore/makeup you should see this if you haven't already. :monster:

8/10.

Sequel is meh though :hmph: !

See Spot Run

Oh god, this is suck a classic for me. I first saw it when I was a kid, and fucking a, I love it. So funny, but oh so cheesy. But hey, most movies that are PG and have a dog in it are cheesy. Still, it has a very great message in it about a dog finding love with a goofy adult and some kid. :lew:

Oh, btw the kid in this is Angus T. Jones, so yeah there's that. :britt:

Movie: What's Your Number
Genre: Rom Com.
Rating: 8/10

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie.
I went in expecting something very mediocre and lame, like most rom coms. I wanted to watch it because it stars my favourite actress Anna Farris.

It's about a girl who's slept with 20 guys but finds out the average amount a girl should sleep with in her life is 10. She then decides that she has to go back through the 20 guys she's slept with and find which one is perfect for her (for some reason it has to be one of those guys, I can't remember why)

Anywho her neighbour Colin, played by Chris Evans (who is very hot in this film) helps her track all her ex's down.

The story is very predictable, you'll always know who she ends up with, it's obvious but the dates with her ex's are really funny and there are a lot of famous faces in this movie. I liked the ending though, and I thought the chemistry was very adorable

So yeah, I enjoyed it.

Maybe so her number doesn't go up to 21. XD If she finds Mr Right within the 20 guys she's already been with she won't have to up her number. >.< I've not seen it so it's just a guess.

Movie: Your Highness

Funneh movie.

Danny McBride was awesome as always. XD I loved him in Hot Rod.

"You gonna bring the demons outta me!" XD

I loved how they made them speak more like real humans do when speaking to each other. I honestly refuse to believe that they were all posh speaking and spoke like Shakespeare did in his books back in the day.
Bloody quoting books and what not whenever they opened their mouths. Someone would have slipped a "fuck" and "shit" here and there.

It was nice to have a more relaxed sort of movie that was set in that era.

Awesome stuff.
