Alexandra Burke Feat. Flo Rida - Bad Boys

Still a pretty good song, despite how old it is now, and I'm still counting it as her debut as opposed to Hallelujah. Her voice is strong here and I like how she's practically done a fun song as opposed to a ballad like any typical returning X Factor winner would do. The addition of Flo Rida is pretty good, too, and gives the song the extra edge it needs.

The Cure- "Lullaby" :wacky:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS6t56U9tBg&ob=av2e

The beat/bass thing going on in this song is to die for...(muahahahaha :wacky:) Love this song though, I've been meaning to replace their Disintegration album (it got broken :ness:) and listening to this again is definitely motivating me :D Great fun, eerie song, one of my favorites by them, 10/10 ^_^

Kanye West - Flashing Lights [click to listen]

I'm not that big of a fan of Kanye. In fact, most of my friends think he's a skeevy little bitch, but I never cared for him. But this song I heard one time while watching the last few episodes of Nip Tuck, and I thought it was pretty catchy. When I think about it, the lyrics describe some kids that go to our school that majority of the population knows about. But I mostly like the beat of this song as well. Not too fast but not too slow.

The Prodigy- "Breathe"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmHDhAohJlQ

So I found a cockroach in the bathroom today, and the first thing I thought of was the video for this song :lew: But then I looked it up after not listening to it for a while, and I'd forgotten how good this song is :ryan: I remember when cool stuff like this used to be on MTV all the time (what happened? :hmph:) and watching this with my best friend and thinking it was so crazy :lew: But also really good. I love this style of music, it keeps me awake when I need to work on stuff late at night. 9/10

No One's Gonna Love You - Band Of Horses

This song is absolute magic. The vocals are fucking awesome, the lyrics and how he sings the words are even better. Best song I've heard in a while. :ryan:

It's looking like a limb torn off
Or altogether just taken apart
We're reeling through an endless fall
We are the ever-living ghost of what once was

But no one is ever gonna love you more than I do
No one's gonna love you more than I do

And anything to make you smile
It is my better side of you to admire
But they should never take so long
Just to be over then back to another one

But no one is ever gonna love you more than I do
No one's gonna love you more than I do

But someone,
They could have warned you
When things start splitting at the seams and now
The whole thing's tumbling down
Things start splitting at the seams and now
If things start splitting at the seams and now,
It's tumbling down
Hard.

Anything to make you smile
You are the ever-living ghost of what once was
I never want to hear you say
That you'd be better off
Or you liked it that way

But no one is ever gonna love you more than I do
No one's gonna love you more than I do

But someone
They should have warned you
When things start splitting at the seams and now
The whole thing's tumbling down
Things start splitting at the seams and now
If things start splitting at the seams and now,
It's tumbling down
Hard

S Club 7 - Never Had A Dream Come True

Far by one of the best ballads they ever had. Despite the fact it's ten years, I still love it. It's adorable and beautiful. I can really relate to the song now I'm older. The video's also really pretty with the snow. I'm starting to understand why Jo was always the lead singer. Love this song so much.

10/10

Ignore the video. It's the only place I could find the song. xD

She - Kicks

9.5/10

Not the greatest bitpop I've heard, but pretty damn good. It's got a nice beat and you can definitely dance to it. It helped to get me through doing the dishes, which I hate. But this is a really good song. Plus, it's always nice to find new stuff you love.

Boom, Blast & Ruin - Biffy Clyro

I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this song!!!! :ohshit: Thank for you creating this song! It's magic, it's love, it's everything, and it puts me in a great mood. Boom blast and ruin giiiiiiirl, the truth is in motion! :ryan: Hell. Yes.

I used to be wrong, you used to be right. <3

CC Adcock & The Lafayette Marquis - I'm Ready

Love this song.

It has a sleezy feel to it but that's okay. XD

It's from the True Blood soundtrack and I love the country feel it has to it, even though I really don't like country music all that much.

Awesome song.

My Immortal by Evanscence
Love this song. Amy Lee's voice is just amazing, and combined with her talents on the piano is even better. Plus, the meaning of the song itself is just amazing--simply amazing.

Hudson Mohawke - Butter Snips [click to listen]

This song is basically a 10-30 second preview of every song that Hudson Mohawke has produced so far . It is quite a unique set of songs, I'll give you that. People are always telling me on how I should listen to it while I'm high and see how much cooler it is and I'm just like, "I'll pass. . .o_O" But since HM is one of my favorite bands, I have this song, and all of their songs separately on my music player. I never get tired of listening to them.

Extreme - Cupid's Dead

I'm not a hundred percent sure just what the Hell the song is about. Near as I can tell it's about cupid...dying. I don't know, but I do know it's got a funky beat. *wiggles finger*

Alexandra Burke - The Silence

So, so pleased this has finally been released as a single and got its own video! Love this song even more just for those reasons. But besides that, I've always seen this as the standout ballad from Overcome. This is a slightly new version to the one that's on the album. But it's slightly better and I'm amazed RedOne could produce such an inspiring song like this. Alexandra, as always, shines with her fantastic vocals.

10/10

Disturbed- "Prayer" 7.5/10

Even though this song frustrates the hell out of me because I can't figure out how to do a good cover of it, due to the combination of fast and slow lyrics, I still have to listen to it every once in a while for its goodness :ryan: The bridge part I could do without tbh, but the verses are pretty good, and the chorus is my absolute favorite section, it's awesome :x3: So simple and yet so powerful-- Let me enlighten you--this is the way I pray: "Living just isn't hard enough/Burn me alive inside/Living my life's not hard enough/Take everything away..." That sarcastic sort of despondent feeling mixed with the epic chord/melody of that section is just awesome. Very well done. I'm not a huge Disturbed fan but I do like this one :D This song also got me through a lot of bullshit in my life, so it gets extra props for that as well (y)

One Republic - All The Right Moves [click to listen]

I remember watching the music video to this song out of pure boredom. Actually, it was shown on MTV and I wanted to see it again, and I thought it was beautiful. It features, well, the band performing, and a huge masquerade ball - which I absolutely love attending when their held around here. The song itself is beautiful as well, and I like to listen to it whenever I need a creativity energizer .

Adele - Make You Feel My Love

Such a beautiful cover by an amazing artist. I sometimes don't like covers being done, but this was done perfectly. Adele has such a soulful voice and she's nailed this with the emotion she puts into her unique voice. The video's also directed very well. This is only one of the first times I've heard this version, but I can tell it will grow on me soon.

8/10

Yuna Ito- Mamotte Agetai. This is her new single that came out a few days ago. I really like it. I actually started singing it when I first saw it xD. It has gone on my iphone and all that already xD. This is a great song however I really like her other works like Endless story and precious(<3) also :ryan: The video is pretty emotional also. I am glad Ito is living up to something xD
