The Season - Quietdrive

Really fun song to listen to, the lyrics are awesome. :lew: It's up beat and cheery, too, which I like. It's just an overall fun song to listen to whenever. It's been playing a few times in a row now. Love it. :ryan:

I'm feeling mixed up
A little bit confused
When everything is left unsaid
I'm feeling left out
A little bit concerned
I'll play it out in my head

But I'm still afraid
That you haven't changed
(Give me a reason)
(To pull off your tshirt)
But I'm still ok
And I don't know why
(Tell me your secret)
(I won't tell your boyfriend now)
When you say that

[Chorus]
You're mixing me up now
You're pulling my teeth out
You're wishing my arguments away
I'll follow directions
I'll stick to your reasons
This isn't the season to go running away

Oh oh oh oh, Oh oh oh oh, Oh oh oh oh, oh

I'll leave you untouched
I never understood
I never questioned why you came
I want to hit it up
But you're still in charge
I know you'll be back one day

But I'm still afraid
That you haven't changed
(Give me a reason)
(To pull off your tshirt)
But I'm still ok
And I don't know why
(Tell me your secret)
(I won't tell your boyfriend now)
When you say that
You don't need me to feel

[Chorus]
But you don't understand
You don't
But you don't understand
You don't
But you don't understand
(I can't tell you how to)
You don't
(Feel when)
But you don't understand
(I'm on the outside and)
You don't
(You're all in)

[Chorus]
Whoa oh oh oh, whoa oh oh oh
Whoa oh oh oh, whoa oh oh oh
Whoa oh oh oh, whoa oh oh oh
You don't understand

Alexandra Burke - Overcome

I've gotten into her again just recently. This is on par with The Silence and stands out as a brilliant ballad on Overcome. If The Silence hadn't been released, then I'd have loved to see this as a single. I love the choir singing in the background. If only this had been released as her winner's single, it would have been a better choice than Hallelujah. Amazing vocals from Alexandra here and a very awe-inspiring message.

You Oughta Know - Alanis Morissette

Such a brilliantly angry song. She doesn't have the best voice, but, I love the emotion that's in this song. It's super catchy, I've found myself singing it randomly to myself a lot this week. :wacky:

Kylie Minogue - On A Night Like This

Don't ask why I'm listening to this. It's just so damn catchy and it still feels so fresh ten years later. Kylie's not the best singer out there, but she knows how to show off the vocals she does have and produce a brilliant song. It's a very intimate song and it feels like one of those songs you'd hear at the end of a night out.

Deftones - Diamond Eyes [click to listen]

Just 2 seconds ago I discovered this song while wondering on Tumblr. Its one of those touchy metal songs, like heavy rock but with very meaningful lyrics. I always enjoyed listening to those types of songs - a lot more than I do with songs with random lyrics that normally just make me bounce around in eagerness. But I could imagine writing a letter to this song. The music video is interesting too ~

Cold - Strip Her Down

Sometimes, the darker parts in your life are worth mentioning because you remain a bit of a soldier, strong and resolute. You could of hurt someone, guy friend, girl friend, parents, in an emotional aspect, but you.. didn't. You were the better person.

Even though these people keep messing up, you still back them.. sigh.

Kelly Clarkson - I Do Not Hook Up

One of the more funner songs from All I Ever Wanted. The video's pretty ace, too, and I just love the part when she's on top of the table with the guy! It doesn't matter what kind of song you throw at her, she'll give such a good performance. It's one of the reasons why I've always adored her. I love the pop rock sound to the song and the title ... even though she does kind of hook up. xD

Alexandra Burke Feat. Flo Rida - Bad Boys

An incredibly catchy song. It's nice to see an X Factor winner doing such a sexy and upbeat song instead of a ballad. The addition of Flo Rida is just the extra umph factor it needed, but I still think Alexandra can cope on her own. She's got such a strong and fantastic voice. She's very consistent and this is probably one of her biggest hits to date.

JASMINE - GOLD

Just discovered this jap singer and I'm really having a good time! Her voice reminds a lot of Utada's, but her charisma is very her own. Just delicious
:)

Alexandra Burke Feat. Pitbull - All Night Long

This is one of the songs where I'm baffled by Pitbull's appearance. He can't rap to save his own skin. He's better off sticking to producing songs, which he does brilliantly here. Alexandra once again has a belting voice and really makes this song really fun. I prefer this version to the album one now that I've heard it a lot more. Great song to dance to.

A Day To Remember - Right Where You Want Me To Be

ADTR is all I've been listening to for the past week. Recently heard Have Faith in Me on my old playlist and of course wanted to go back and listen to all the songs of theirs I have downloaded. Funny how I've come across the song on the first day that it snowed this year- since the video is based on Christmas. Kinda got me excited for winter. :-(

This is the first time
In a long time
That I've felt like
Coming home for the holidays

Everybody's rushing about
Why won't anybody hear me out?

My money's low
So instead I'll write you a song
Everyone will know
Everyone will know
So here it goes! (So hear it goes!)

Can you hear me?
I write so much
That it makes me sick
That it's all about you

Let's drop everything
And not come back til' next fall
Everyone knows that you've got me
Right where you want me to be

I'm coming home for the bright lights
And the warm nights
Driving around with your friends
In your parents car

We're the ones that made it out
We're the ones they always talk about

My money's low
So instead I'll write you a song
Everyone will know
Everyone will know
So here it goes! (So hear it goes!)

Can you hear me?
I write so much
That it makes me sick
That it's all about you

Let's drop everything
And not come back til' next fall
Everyone knows that you've got me
Right where you want me to be

What we've done, this year
It was the best times (it was the worst times)
But we built something here
Looking back on what we've done, this year
It was the best times (it was the worst times)
But we built something here!

Can you hear me?
I write so much
That it makes me sick
That it's all about you
Let's drop everything
And not come back til' next fall
Everyone knows that you've got me
Right where you want me to be

Kelly Clarkson - Walk Away

One of the more fun songs from Breakaway. I like the laidbackness of this song, but the genuine meaning behind it. Kelly's great when she does fun songs like this. The lyrics are pretty deep. Even so, the video's perfect for it. It's probably one of the funniest of her videos I've ever seen. Just seeing everyone dancing around is very random!

Always, All Ways(Apologies, Glances, Messed up Chances

Love everything about this song. It's my most-played song on Itunes for a reason; it's pretty dope :ryan:
I guess I'm trying to say I'm sorry
but it always comes out wrong
I think a part of you still loves me
even though we're moving on
always, all ways I wanted us to be
always, all ways you and me

and I'll wait here on my own
and I'll wait for you to see
all the time I've spent alone now won't comfort me

always all ways

and I'm sorry for what happened
but I want you now to see
that I'm changing all my actions
I don't wanna set you free
always all ways, I wanna see it through
always all ways, me and you

and I'll wait here on my own
and I'll wait for you to see
all the time I've spent alone now won't comofrot me

cause I'm waiting for you
yeah I'm waiting for you
give me answers, get me through
I will wait

always all ways, I wanted us to be
always all ways, you and me

and I'll wait here on my own
and I'll wait for you to see
all the time I've spent alone now won't comfort me

cause I'm waiting for you
and I'll wait here for you
give me answers, get me through
I will wait
cause I'm waiting for you
yeah I'm waiting for you
give me answers, get me through
I will wait

always all ways

death by diamonds and pearls - band of skulls
some really cool sounding rock stuff, very much like the white stripes. i didn't realise until recently that there's actually only three of them in the band.

Stand and Deliver - No Doubt

Their most recent song since getting back together, I know it's a cover song, but they've made it pretty good. It has a catchy chorus, and Gwen Stefani's voice is as great as ever. Really makes me excited for their own new material.

Hello Seattle Remix- Owl City

I just LOVE the beat. It starts out so soft, and then gradually builds, progressing towards a very cool beat. It's just so addicting to listen to. It would make great video game music, in my opinion.

A Reason for Broken Wings - A Skylit Drive

Definitely one of my favorites from this band, for sure. I love the screams throughout the song, but also the lead singer's voice is just great. The Guitar, and drums are amazing, and percussion is also nice. This was definitely a great song on their "She Watched the Sky" EP.

Man do I friggin' love this song. :D

Tevin Campbell -- Stand Out (Goofy movie -- oh come on, you know you love it)

Tevin Campbell -- Stand Out

I remember when I first watched the movie as a kid and loved it, and the music in it was great too! I don't care if most people on the planet doesn't even know about it, its still a great song! I just love his voice.

I remember thinking "Is this Bobby?" when I was a child and always watched the movie just for the songs. But of course the movie was great! I wish I still owned the movie T.T
