I could not agree with your 2nd point more, although if response is normal people will have a bone to pick with you about it.
a remaster is a special type of remake, where the graphics & things are changed but the plot isn't. if you can't see how it is- not sure what to tell you. And again, more importantly- it is not supporting his position that creating new games is the focus.
i know a remaster is not the same thing as a remake, its damn close and completely opposite to what he said. If you are spending all that time & money remastering X, how are you creating a new FF that surpasses expectations?

Wasn't it recently stated that ps3 hasn't even come close to being used to its full potential? Why come out with a new one if your current system still has so much to offer.
