SE has always been about money, so I don't see how they're selling out. I don't like the announcment, but it makes sense. They've always been a bunch of money fucking cocksuckers. The only difference is that they put more effort into their games a decade ago.

FF6 had the best story and is the best FF imo, too bad not many people played it. FF8 is my personal favourite though.

I don't like the direction square has been going either. They're making to many remakes and sequals imo. Oh and Dragon Quest is actually more popular then FF in Japan.

The Franchise is pretty much dead to me, I don't like how they make so many sequals and side FF's. I think it's just SE's cow now and they don't care about FF franchise unless it makes them money. I miss Square Soft :(.
